Yeah, we've got a heat wave and smog alert here in Toronto this week. Looks like our igloos are melting. It's gonna kill the summer ski season...

IT OFTEN SEEMS AS THOUGH AMERICAN'S ARE A BUNCH OF LIBERAL FAG PANDERER'S.
BUT ANYWAYS, AMERICAN'S CAN MAKE FUN OF CANADIANS ALL THEY WANT, ALL I KNOW IS THAT I AM LIVING IN A SAFE WEALTHY COUNTRY WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE WORLD, AND I DON'T HAVE TO SEE HOMOSEXUALS HOLDING HANDS IN PUBLIC! I HAVE SPOKEN FOLKS! |

<<For example: Canadians say , "an elastic" ,instead of saying, "a rubber band". Other examples are as follows: A chesterfield = couch. Runners = tennis shoes. Cash register = a till. A Bum = a Butt. There are many more. >>
I have never ever heard anyone refer to couchs as 'chesterfield' in life. 'elastic' and 'runners' are British terms. (just to recap Canadians do not equal British) I may not have used these terms because i'm from Toronto. Its very close to the US and we torontonians are pratically American in every way. I know people who live in Toronto and drive to Buffalo every day to go to work. |

Blame Canada | ||

Every Canadian I have ever met loves 'Kraft Dinner.' Which of course in America we call Mac n' Cheese.
Question for Canadians: What did you think of South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut? ER P.S. I love Canadians. |

That's an old photo. I think it took place during the great thaw of 1983. Can you believe that there were 3 whole days in that there was not one flake of snow on the ground in the Toronto area? Boy, our polar bears were pissed.
We blamed Gino Vannelli. |

Canada
I can never figure out the conversion. Then, I am always stuck with a handful or two of loonies of which there is no good use. Plus I never can figure out the "eh" business. But, I guess it is better than the American "huh" that makes so many sound like an idiot. Especially when grouped with that vague, empty look that accompanies the "huh". |

I hate to burst your bubble, but that pic is not from
Canada... Our signs are green and we don't drive on the right side of the road. Try somewhere in Europe. |

I am american, but some of the most intelligent people are from there, i.e. Alex Trebek. Not that Keanu Reeves is intelligent, but he is a big actor. So, say what you will about the canadians..........
