Umm because Kimmi is the best castaway EVER maybe that's why she got a heavy edit.
not because Alicia went finger waving at her?

As muched as I liked Varner, Kutcha should have voted him out instead of Kimmi. Who knows, Mike might have never fallen in the fire with Varner gone, changing the game completly

well since people are talking about Australia here i got a quick question...
Why did Colby vote Rodger out while the rest of the remaining Ogakor voted Amber out? Just watched the episode today so maybe next ep it'll give the answer, but just a quick question.. |

Because Colby had promised Amber that he would never write down her name. And since they didn't need Colby's vote that night, he was able to keep his word. All the people in Colby's alliance knew what was going to go down. The only person surprised that night was Amber. |

Australia perhaps has one of the worst season premiers in the entire series.

I agree the starting went kind of slow but then the season got really good. I'm almost done Australia now and love the player editing.
It's amazing how I can remember players such as Jeff Varner, Alicia, Debb *Even though she was first out*, Mad Dog, as well as others even though most were out before the jury more than Alexis who's on the jury and i still don't know anything about her... |

The only thing I know about Alexis is she sulks when she doesn't get her cookies!
My favorite survivor quote EVER comes from Australia ("She (Kimmi) doesn't have tan lines, she had dirt lines") |

I was just watching Africa and I don't know why everyone was saying they were dying, to me people looked more sick in Guatamala than in Africa. I
haven't gotten to the merge yet so my opinion might change but it's actually a pretty entertaining season, I think it started out better than
Australia. Australia had a lot of high and low moments, loved all the stuff they had to face. I hope Survivor goes to a place like Africa again or somewhere
that's not an island, the only problem is challenges, because Africa didn't have a lot of great ones.

What do you know they did go back to Africa

I'm rewatching Australia right now. It's been eight years since I saw it the first time and some things occurred to me.
1. Colby is not as hot as I remembered, because he has no shoulders or no waist or something. His accent and teeth blinded me as a teenager. 2. Colby is the biggest backstabber in the game, and it's so odd to me that people (including himself) consider him to be someone of integrity and loyalty. Yeah, no. Tina is similarly not a "good person" in the way that she would imply. 3. Jerri's "bitch" reputation comes largely from her take-charge persona. It wasn't the rice. Everyone complained about Keith's rice. Tina, Amber, Mitchell, everyone. Jerri was just dominant and strong-willed. She was also very loyal and honest. If Jerri were a man she would've been a glorious alpha male that Probst and all of America would've loved. I've always loved Jerri but now I'm even more confused by how demonized she was in the public eye. 4. Amber is not that invisible. She's just sort of bland. 5. The Kucha tribe were not a happy-go-lucky unified tribe the way I incorrectly remembered them. In fact, with the exception of Rodger and Elisabeth (the latter of whom is terrifyingly wholesome and just as bland as Amber), everyone hated everyone else. 6. The challenges took up approximately 45 seconds of the show and a lot more of the tribe dynamics were shown. |

I actually watched the Australia Reunion & the "Back from the Outback" and have decided that Kel (is/was) the most pathetic person in the entire
universe, and has actually become one of my top 5 least favorite castaways, ever. The whole "Jerri dartboard" was really sad and his entire obsession
with her in general was really creepy and pathetic.

I don't understand why Jerri got blamed for that whole thing. Colby, Tina and Amber were all just as convinced that he had beef jerky because they saw
it, not because of Jerri. And his story changed a few times. Also, Tina said Kel was stopped in customs and detained because he had a pound of beef jerky
and that Kel told her that military men were taught to sow beef jerky into the lining of their clothes. Keith and Maralynn were the only ones that didn't
100% believe that he had beef jerky.
I remembered Ogakor as being a horrible tribe that was completely outmatched by Kucha, but Ogakor won 4 out of the 9 pre merge challenges, so I don't know where that misconception came from. |

menelaus |

The misconception came from the fact that Okagor lost 3 straight immunities, and would have probably entered the merge down 4-6 without Mike falling into the
fire.

Ogakor was kind of pathetic in comparison to Kucha, but it wasn't because of the number of wins they had, it was because Kucha won all of the feasts. The
show always showed Kucha eating (the mountain dew/chips, the chickens, the pig) while Ogakor was always starving and running out of rice because of the Top
Chef power struggle between Keith and Jerri. Ogakor was just edited to be the underdogs going into the merge. Probably to make it better when they came out on
top at the merge? I don't know.
And whether Jerri lied or not, Kel is still a psycho. Get over it, srsly. He probably would have been voted out anyway because of how lame and socially inept he was. At the Reunion I thought he was kind of pathetic, because every time he talked he brought up Jerri, but it really didn't bother me that much since that was pretty much the only thing anyone remembered about him in the first place. But then they showed the "Back from Australia" clip where it talked about what everyone had been up to since returning from Survivor, and Kel's entire segment was dedicated to Jerri. And Elisabeth, Rodger, Colby, and Tina were all much more irritating than I remember. I loved Jeff Varner & Alicia more than I did back then, too. They were fun. |

Mikester wrote:X Kel was so annoying at the reunion. Its like he finally decided to have a personality and decided it would be a Jerri-obsessed whining bitch. I agree it was both creepy and pathetic. I LOVED the way Jerri handled herself at the AO reunion. She just laughed things off and didn't take anything to personal. It was great. I remember the line where she was talking about how the everyone was starving after she left and she thought it "was kinda funny." lol. Best line of the entire reuinon <3. Too bad she turned all weird and "deep" in ASS. |

She apparently took the transition back into life after Survivor pretty rough. She didn't expect all the hate. I always just assumed that she tried to act
differently because she didn't want the same edit she got in Australia.
It probably didn't help her that the theme of the season was "All-American Christian Good People FTW." |

menelaus wrote: Would Ogakor really have lost the last tribal Immunity Challenge though? Everyone seems to act as if this was a certainty, when it reality I don't think it was. I know, I know, Kucha was better fed and energized but Ogakor has a lot more heart, IMO. They had won the last immunity challenge before that and they were just as tired and just as underfed as they would have been three day later. It always bugs me that people say an Ogakor only won becuase Mike fell in the fire. Kucha did not win that Immunity Challenge, everyone thought they would have. |
