More SURVIVOR on DVD?

Well Seinfeld is on twice (at least) a night in every part of the country, if not more, and the christmas(s) that the dvd box sets came out I still got the dvd set, and so did a lot of other people I know....even though I never watched it yet.

Posts: 2389 (02/26/09 9:30 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Sad to say, but if they were gonna release more Survivor DVD's, I would have thought that this Gabon/Tocantins television season would have been the perfect tie-in excuse to finally release Africa and Amazon. I mean, the marketing pretty much writes itself. "Survivor is going back to Brazil, and now you can re-live what it was like the first time with all your favorite 'Survivor: The Amazon' episodes on DVD..." or something like that. What a wasted opportunity. ETA: And if Survivor 19 goes back to an island location, that would be a good tie-in opportunity to release Marquesas, since that season was originally hyped as going "Back To The Beach" after Australia and Africa, and going to an island location after Gabon and Tocantins would essentially be the same thing. My guess is that you'll see each season released in about ten years or so. Maybe fifteen, when people actually miss Survivor and may want to introduce it to a new generation, long after it's off the air since it is now a staple of TV History.

This is actually a good idea. They should have hired you as a marketer or something.
