In general a BOARD SUICIDE BY ADMIN. will occur when a poster perceives they have been wronged in some way by the administrators or moderators of a board and demand that certain conditions of theirs must be met before they will post at the board again.

Even if they have a long history with the board, the board members, and the admins. of the board, once they feel they have been wronged, they will not bother contacting the admins. of the board to deal with their concerns like normal people would. They will generally stay away from the board under the guise of a faux "vacation" and eventually their perceived wrongs will come out in postings at other boards.

If the admin. of the board finds out that the BOARD SUICIDE BY ADMIN. feels they have been wronged and publicly explains the admin./board stance on the issue and asks the BOARD SUICIDE BY ADMIN. to come back and post again, the admin. of the board is met with foot stomping, breath holding, and the classic "I'll show you and everyone here" behavior from the BOARD SUICIDE BY ADMIN.

The BOARD SUICIDE BY ADMIN. will loudly retort that they will only come back if certain conditions of theirs are met. These conditions are usually assinine in nature and would have little or no effect on the perceived "wrong" BUT assures the BOARD SUICIDE BY ADMIN. that now everyone on the board can plainly see that the reason they don't post at the board anymore is not THEIR fault. NO! It's the ADMINS. fault because they won't meet their demands.

Often, the BOARD SUICIDE BY ADMIN. is heard mumbling under their breath as they leave, "That'll show them alright. I think I'll go home and eat some worms now and make them feel really bad."

Often, the board admin. is left scratching their head wondering aloud, "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?"
