Arghhh! So good. Fully invested, and then then -to be continued!

This is looking really good, sensei. Tina won the final seven immunity originally and it was exciting because she was on the chopping block. This time it's exciting because Tina has all the power.

The Vecepia/Tina angle is really great because they have to ally together, but also have to line up the votes to win -and your take on Vecepia going to Gretchen is perfect. Vecepia just wants things to go smoothly -and let Kekos have false hope from Tina and BAM! animosity -and hopefully Vecepia reaps the benefits from the jury -at least from Alicia and Gretchen (I don't think Vee will ever think she'll get Kathy's vote).

I still don't see how Vee and Tina would target Gretchen this round -it's far too risky to make Colleen bolt (in their minds), and wonder if Tina and Vee have both gone to Colleen for at least the pretense of endgame deals. The real fun will be to hear Colleen and John compare notes and how to work this.

uh-oh. Mountain lion on the loose. I have a feeling even if Haskell won in the end it would go like- "Congratulations, Colleen -one million dollars!!.... however, this check was written on an old ancient Indian burial ground and is cursed!"

This episode is looking very good indeed. Love the Ahi summit scene. Interesting about John and Alicia -at least from John's point of view. I still don't think he can risk her getting to the final two with him since he has the initial animosity of Tina and Frank (from Lex's boot) and then turning on others down the line if he goes with Alicia (and she has the whole no blood on her hands underdog) -but it makes sense that he needs a way to get Colleen and Vecepia into a final three with him, and a third that will still give him leverage.

I can see where this might be going -and I won't jinx it by posting it. I think it's going to be a lot of fun.

It's absolutely great, Sensei. The foursome of Ahi is so delicate and fascinating- each one needs a different componant within that four -and making deals with Keko is too risky now.

I can see John not wanting Tina in the final four and having Alicia instead- but certainly not final three or two. He's going to get really paranoid about Tina and Vecepia understanding the logic of taking each other. His status of resident creep has changed since the merge and the three Kekos like him, and he knows they'll vote for him over Vecepia -so that has to worry him. He'll know that Vecepia will know she'll have to take Tina. If he can get Colleen, Vecepia and Alicia in the final four, he's golden.

Vecepia catching on to Colleen is great, but Vecepia is really trapped within the Ahi four. However, she can use Colleen's treachery as little bugs in the ear of John and Tina so Colleen is everyone's target at final four -and then Vecepia becomes both Tina and John's choice to take to final two. She also should keep working on Colleen -on how Tina was the one to put them all in this mess, and how she and Colleen were together since the beginning, and keep telling John to be buddy/buddy with Colleen -let Colleen think she and John are going to the end, so Colleen is the easy out in final four.

Tina has the same agenda as Vecepia -just flip Colleen with John. She has to work within the Ahi four and can't take a Keko into the final four (if she could dump John before that, who would she want -Kathy, but that's out of her hands now). She has to start bridging her friendship with Colleen for damage control going into the final four, and also just so Colleen doesn't flip.

Colleen has all the power, but can't see it, or articulate it. (It might be like in the immunity challenge this episode, where she just screws up emotionally). She's smart enough to know when something's up, but feels too guilty to act on it. Unless she does something really stupid this episode, she should make final six- and if none of John, Vecepia or Tina are talking with her one on one endgame, she may flip in order to protect Gretchen -if Colleen feels she won't win anyway, and is settling for second place. I think everyone likes her, but in the end most won't give her the million because she's getting outside opportunities (commericals, movie, etc). If she's gaming though, I think she'll trust John the most and want to go to the end with him (Vee and Tina already won, and it's fair.)

Kathy, Alicia and Gretchen -I don't know. Gretchen has the heads-up, so it should be a mad scramble the rest of this episode. Kathy will know its her because of Vecepia; Alicia thinks its her because of how threatening she is; Gretchen probably thinks it won't be her because of Colleen being Ahi's fourth vote- and Alicia and Kathy knowing that as well. Alicia might implode and make a side deal with John -which is fine with John, and he can discard her whenever. Kathy and Gretchen will be begging and pleading with Colleen- telling her she's the first one out of the Ahi group. Tina and Vecepia will be irked at Colleen for being surrounded by the Kekos, and letting the info out- but know they have to play ball with her through at least the final five.

If Kathy is the target, and she is, then I expect her to go down swinging. It's going to be good.
