I always thought it was Adam who dragged Rebecca to apply for TAR but I'm wrong. From another board:

Ha! Adam was ready to quit the race when they missed the train. He wanted to just go to the airport and fly home. How can I not hate him?

Has there been one task he's done on the race without either screwing it up, taking longer than anyone else, whining about it, or being scared shitless? Or maybe all the above at once?
What was once amusing is getting tired, because he doesn't seem to grow. And his hopeless delusions about any kind of ongoing relationship with Rebecca are creepy. Now she's got to dole out kisses and forced smiles to keep him going. Ugh. |

Usually I just feel sorry for Adam and get annoyed with Rebecca. Not this time, I was cheering Rebecca on when she went and called the cab. All Adam does is complain and threaten to harm himself or quit the race. He wants someone cajoling him all the time (e.g., "Oh no Adam, love you, don't throw yourself under the train". "Oh no Adam, I need you, don't quit the race"", etc, etc, etc....) Rebecca called his whinning little bluff. Where the f... did he expect to go for 90 minutes while they waited for the train.
BTW - anyone see him jump in the pool? It's a million bucks Adam - DIVE!!!! |
