Yes, I was a political prisoner for being referenced in a South Korean alternative newspaper

I was still 29 years old. Living in Texas working for the Devil (exxon, prior to the exxon mobil merger) I couldn't leave Texas fast enough.

Poor Sonja. Had her knee not given out, Richard Hatch would've been a minor footnote in RTV history instead of in a federal pen. What, Richard would have been voted out? |

I was at home with two preschool aged children. Being stranded on an island sounded like heaven at that point.

So Richard officially didn't start the first alliance? I remember there was a reward challenge in episode 2 that didn't air on the show but it was in
the book.
May 31st 2000 I didn't know what survivor was. that thursday or friday someone mentioned the show at school lunch and referred to some old lady who had to carry a torch over a hill and she fell so they voted her off. That Saturday (june 3 2000), I happened to catch the last half of the encore and still was crossing my fingers they'd boot Rudy over Sonja. I was hooked right there but I was dumb to think the show would always air on Saturday so I missed episode 2. |
