On May 31/00, I was at the end of Gr. 7. I remember my brother had bet a drink on Gervase winning (he had heard about Gervase X). When he was voted off, my brother owed someone a Fruitopia.

I've only missed two episodes - "Souna's" boot, and Vecepia's win. No big loss in either case.
Ahh, 2000. When the Clintons were still in office, the Twin Towers were still standing, the phrase "orange alert" only applied to people in Florida, we weren't at war, and "Survivor" featured people who auditioned and weren't recruited. Who would have thought we'd ever look at those days with such nostalgia?? |

During the first season, I thought the idea of Survivor was stupid. People stuck on an island? Why would you do that, even for a million bucks?
Then I watched Outback, and got hooked. For three seasons. I didn't watch Thailand, Amazon, or Pearl Islands. I watched every episode of All Stars, Vanuatu, and Palau, and missed the Morgan boot episode of Guatemala, but watched every other one that season. I watched all of Exile Island and Cook Islands, and stopped watching Fiji after Anthony was voted out. |

It's kind of scary that some of them aren't joking about being so young 7 years ago.
I tuned in part-way thru Season 1, then watched the whole thing on re-runs (except I missed the "Souna" boot) and I've never missed an episode since then. We were in this house but had not done any of the renovations. They are all done now. NC, I'd say I was sorry to hear about your marital situation, except you sound a lot happier & relaxed. |

I was planning a wedding and building a house at the same time period. I missed a lot of the first season.
However, I only *missed* one episode after that, and that was the Brandon boot, S3-Africa. Even then, I was watching somewhat... I was in the hospital having my daughter, trying to watch what I could before she came. LOL |
