Nah, Ivana won't leave this week.
Not enough face time the last episode... My guess: Jennifer C. WAY too much face time with another spike coming next episode. |

Quote: As 'prejudice' as it may seem (as if having not even a quarter of the candidates as ethnicities wasn't 'fair' enough), it'll probably never happen. I think Tammy cooked any Asian woman's chances of becoming Trump's Apprentice, the same way Omarosa paved the way for strong, independent, African-American businesswomen... |

The irony of IVANA saying someone else had horrible leadership skills sure was delicious.

I noticed that as well. She needs to not point the finger unless she's brought back into the Boardroom or asked by Trump who should be fired and why. Otherwise the accused person could just as easily call her on her poor PM performance. I'm surprised Jennifer didn't retort but then again she talks faster than she thinks. *rolls eyes*...

Ivana was an ineffective leader, HOWEVER, she when asked why she thought that she backed it up. Ironically (or luckily), Carolyn picked up on the same things Ivana was pointing out. Ivana has real potential, as a top executive, however, President of one of Trump's companies? probably not.
Ivana's strengths lies in her ability to manage money and that she is articulate. She does not say things unnecessarily. I think, Trump has already has her on the list to be fired but she could go farther by good BR performances. |

She IS very perceptive of what's going wrong.
She was also very aware of what she herself was doing wrong when she was PM and that's definitely a good sign compared to some of the other girls who just aren't even aware of their flaws. So even though Carolyn and Trump thought she didn't do a good job, she was able to at least try and defend herself on some of the tasks because she had thought about them before going into then board room. And even this episode, she was the one seen commenting on what was going wrong. I think based on that attribute itself, she won't go until at least another few episodes. |

Quote: Let's roll out the tapes on this one: Managing money? Wasn't she overseeing the department that went over budget with Maria? Isn't this why DT asked "Why isn't Ivana here" Articulate? This is too easy! Things not to do in boardroom - drop your hands in your face and repeat 6 times in a rapid manner "Oh My God" I know and worked with Asian American Women who are much better candidates than Ivana. |

I'm not worried for Ivana next episode.
I would be more concerned if I was rooting for Andy of John. Both have had an abnormal amount of face time compared to the the other guys. |

No Ivana in the previews! That's a good sign for her I gather!

I know I'm seriously the only one maintaining this threat, but who really cares right?
Extended Boardroom; I have completely changed my mind about how long Ivana's going to last. After the 2nd episode, I thought , similar to everyone else that Ivana was in big trouble and that she was going to be quick to go and that in order to survive she's going to have to go low UTR. However, the last few episodes have changed that. Ivana's editing has been interesting. She's clearly the narrator or the person that comments on all the mistakes that the women are doing. And she's had a lot of face time, which isn't really a good sign, but they deliberately show a lot of her confessionals and a lot of boardroom time. However, whatever this may mean in editing; today's extended boardroom episode shows that perhaps Ivana has more of a fighting chance that most of us think. For one, Trump actually seemed to be off the "Ivana has to go" mentality. He actually said "you're improving" to Ivana and seemed impressed by her numbers. Furthermore, the team has backed Ivana a LOT, and this means a lot. If you recall, every boardroom, Trump asks who should be going, and so far no one has said Ivana yet with the exception of Stacie J. trying to save her own head. Otherwise, whenever asked about Ivana; all the other members have said that she's done an excellent job; in particular Stacie R. and Elizabeth in Episode 2, Elizabeth in episode 3; then once again Maria in this last episode. Furthermore, she MUST be doing a good job, otherwise why would Pamela, Jennifer C. and Elizabeth all refuse to bring her in the boardroom, even though she was so bluntly criticizing their jobs as project manager (esp. Pamela and Jennifer C.) Furthermore, we've seen that Pamela did indeed give Ivana a lot of work to do. If anything, that must be a good sign to Trump. To boost Ivana's current status, it seems like both Caroline and Trump think Sandy does nothing at ALL as we've seen today and clearly would seem to like to boot Sandy over Ivana. And at this point I think Stacie R. and Maria are more likely to get cut than Ivana. This episode's extended episode completely changed how far Ivana is going to go I think... |

Quote: No no. Trump wanted her gone last night. See the "Trump fishing expedition" thread for analysis on that. His comments that you quoted were very condescending and I think showed that he thinks little of her - as of course he should since she is useless. |

Why are these women delusional about Ivana? She sucks! What the hell if wrong with Apex?

Re: Ivana appreciation thread | ||

Those quotes were not condescending at all. I think he truly meant he thought she was doing better. Regardless, if she's effective, she's not going into the boardroom, and won't be fired regardless. I see her as the 2nd last girl standing behind Jennifer M. But then again I was one of the few that thought she wouldn't leave right after episode 2.. and was obviously right. She's still here!

The math she spewed was also off, but Trump bought every minute of it.
I hope she sticks around. She is just so delightfully stupid. |
