Yau Man dangled the "candy", not "Survivor".

Quote: Survivor isn't life it's a TV show. Just like Jonathan said at the CI finale, people do things and say things that they normally wouldn't do in their everyday life. It's all done in the context of the game. |

^ After Dreamz reneged, Yau said Dreamz outplayed him and he also told him to keep the truck and enjoy it. Did I miss something?

Just because Yau is forgiving him doesn't mean what the asshole did was right. It just means that Yau is a bigger person than asshole is.
Just because Yau forgave him doesn't mean I still can't be outraged by that scamming sack of shit. Based on Sack o' Shit's reneging on that deal in the way he did would influence the way I would deal with So'S if I ever had the misfortune to have to deal with him in real life. That applies to a number of players over past seasons, as well, not just this sack. Yea, it is a game but character issues come through in the games playing, |

Did this thread go to eHarmony.com's page or something? You can probably find someone around here but you might want to put some lightbulbs in your makeup mirror first.

There is no debate to be had here. You see it is simply repugnant paternalism to say that you, me, the producers or anyone should decide that someone like Dreamz should be barred from doing such things as being a contestant on a reality show because he is too slow, too dumb. He has to be protected from his own will and decision to go on a reality show or accept a new truck in return for giving a bracelet if he so wins one later. He doesn't have the grey matter necessary to properly engage in such an intellectual tour de force.
If your going to make a claim of some sort of IQ benchmark for doing something as pedestrian and inconsequential as being a television show contestant you ironically prove that you yourself are far below the standard your advocating. I mean forget having a benchmark for appearing on a stupid reality show what about voting. We need literacy and IQ tests at the voting boths. We can't just let any old idiot vote. Among the most basic of intelligence is the simple awareness that no one has the right to step in and decide you are the one who must decide for the good of everyone else. There is a basic equality of man. The recognition of this and hey that means a guy can go on a reality show if he wants to is the foundation of American thought. There are no special rules for who is allowed to be public and who must remain hidden because we don't want to hear from dumb people. That is what your argument comes down to. Dreamz is a pockmark of shame on the face of humanity - he's not smart enough. Let's not show him. What else is it. He did win immunity challenges and end tied for second so there is certainly no real argument of capability for playing on the actual show. You should be ashamed for your argument. Dreamz is a moral failure. He, in his own words "slithered." I am revolted by his actions and everyone's attempts to hide it as a just part of a game. But we have no right or power to take away his humanity for his failures to live up to the ideals of humanity. The Schreck |

It would be ok if Dreamz lied to win the million dollars, but it's not ok that he lied to get a fraction of that? Think about it. The name of the game of
Survivor is lying. Dreamz is an asshole though, no argument, but Yau Man is the somewhat typical cocky asian who overplayed and got what you can expect.

Yau-Man was not cocky, just too trusting. The fact that he admitted it showed that he's a humble person
