Does anyone here sell Mary Kay? Someone gave me a lip gloss of theres a few months back and it has become my fave day-today shade. I NEED more. I looked on
their website and don't seel the color listed, I'm wondering id it's seasonal or discontinued? (btw, I never use MK but this is the best lipgloss
ever. High color pigment, just right texture, last forever)
And don't even suggest ebay, unless is comes shrink wrapped, I am not buying lip gloss off ebay.

Ive tried Murad and it didnt work for my bacteria ball. But aside from mt St Helens erupting on my face once or twice a year, I find that a laissez-faire
approach, Cetaphil, and a good moisturizer/sunscreen is all I need.

People have told me it works. But I've never tried it. I have nice bag-free eyes.
I got a new Sephora catalog today, I so want one of the eyshadow looks in it, but I know my version of it would just look retarded. |

I used to use CornSilk oil blotting papers for my noontime shiny face issues. When I couldn't find them, I asked at the pharmacy makeup counter if they
had any others and the clerk went and got me some by Neutrogena. These are FABULOUS!! I'm on my second pack now. The cornsilk ones were rice paper that
had a bit of powder on them, so they worked for a little while but ended up putting extra makeup on your face. The Neutrogena ones don't have any powder,
but are made of some sort of plasticy substance so the sheet just sucks the oil out of your face without adding anything extra or messing up your makeup.

There is so much stuff at Sephora, it would be kind of hard to tell you a few good things. Are looking for makeup, bath/shower stuff, skin care? They carry tons of different brands.
I want to know about Ulta. Thwy just opened one on Henrietta and I want to know if I should check it out. |

I was disappointed in the Ulta store myself. I was expecting a lot more than what they had. I suppose it's better then just a regular drug store so you
might like it, I find more on their website than I did in the store that I wanted.

How often do you girls wash your hair? I was washing my everyday for years. And then I stopped washing except once a week but I do condtion it daily in the
shower.
My hair is nicely oiled but not oily and definitely not dry anymore. I found this great hair site called www.longhaircommunity.com They have great tips on keeping you hair healthy! I love it!

Resurrected this thread to ask for a brief moment of silence for the man that invented the best eyelash curler ever... TOKYO - Shu Uemura, the Japanese makeup artist who won acclaim in Hollywood and built an international cosmetics brand under his name, has died. He was 79.
Uemura, who gained acclaim working with actress Shirley
MacLaine on the 1962 Hollywood film "My Geisha," died of pneumonia in Tokyo on Dec. 29, according to a statement released Tuesday by his company, also called Shu Uemura.
Its products were mentioned in the more recent film "The Devil Wears Prada."
He is survived by his wife and a son. Uemura's family and friends attended a funeral Friday, according to company spokeswoman Ami Nakano. Uemura was working as a beautician in Hollywood when he was called to work on MacLaine's makeup for "My Geisha" after the staff makeup artist fell ill. His transformation of MacLaine into a Japanese beauty catapulted the young Uemura to renown within the U.S. show business community. He soon became a favorite among top actresses as well as the likes of singer Frank Sinatra and actor Edward G. Robinson, according to his company's Web site. In 1960, Uemura developed his first cosmetics product, a cleansing oil that remains popular today. He later opened a school to train makeup artists in Tokyo. In 1983, amid Japan's economic boom and just as Tokyo was establishing itself as a fashion trendsetter, Uemura launched a cosmetics boutique in the capital. It drew crowds for its gallery-like interior. Uemura gradually expanded his brand to include handmade makeup brushes, perfumes, and voluptuous fake eyelashes. The company's eyelash curlers were mentioned in the 2006 movie "The Devil Wears Prada" starring Meryl Streep. Hey spa girls, have any of you all ever gotten microdermabrasion and/or used a home kit? I was wondering how the home microdermabrasion compares to that done
in a spa/dr's office. Not as good I'm sure, but is it worth trying at all? And is the real thing painful and how long was your face red/irritated? (I
am kinda wimpy)
