 Nice to have Rutgers ranked in the pre-season Top 25 for the first time ever, would have liked a few spots higher, but I'll settle for #16. We will move up, and wont have to come as far as last year, as I think we only had 7 pre-season votes last season. Its still amazing how far we have come, Schiano is a miracleworker. My freshman year we were 1-10, only beating Syracuse (which was insanely exciting), and losing games to Miami 55-0 and WVU 62-16, and that wasnt even our worst season in the 90s (0-11 in 1997) |

Either the bowl games are out of control or it's the end of the world, I read that perennial Pac-10 doormat Arizona may be in the running for a bowl bid
this season.

Screw it... because of the strength of my liking for that which is my favorite sport - COLLEGE FOOTBALL - I decided to take the plunge, and
migrate to this @+% place.
So... LET'S PLAY SOME OT COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!! The first game is THURSDAY NIGHT... so if you wanna play, be sure to get your pick in for that game on time. I can see people not knowing that there are Thursday night games to kick the season off. For any week, if you don't want to post all your picks at once, 'cause you want to mull over some of them, that's fine - I'll count a pick as long as you get it in before a game's kickoff, including if you decide to change a pick. It's Darren McFadden. Si did several regional covers. The ones with Oklahoma and USC and Rutgers (WTF?) all had a heading about contending for the national

This is excellent... I was worried about there being no interest at all, and we've already got a good few playing. I hope y'all will like the games I select during the season - I want to keep it diversified, and not isolated to just a few conferences. Angela, the Badgers always seem to have a game or two every year that bite them in the ass. Will this year be the one where they break through? Husker, I didn't forget the boys in Red!! That game is on my radar, but I didn't choose it because NOBODY would've picked the Wolfpack!  They were a pretty
decent team last year, and I wouldn't be surprised if they gave the 'Huskers a 'tougher-than-expected' opening game.
Smithee, I guess that SI just doesn't have very much confidence in Houston. *L* And Quaf - if you win, you get... ummmmm, the PRIDE of being the "Champion of OT"!!! Is that satisfactory?
