I had to edit my post with the turtle pic. I mentioned that I had a new baby zebra finch, Birdie, who was born on Thursday. She passed away this morning. I hate when baby animals die.

My cat is at the emergency pet hospital at the moment, he has crystals in his urine and couldn't pee, it was really scary. He has to stay there for two nights, poor baby. Hopefully they will get him fixed up and he can come home in the morning. My pets always get sick over 3 day holiday weekends
 Plus, it's gonna cost almost two THOUSAND dollars and I'm sitting here trying to figure out how much credit is on various cards to pay for this. He's worth it though, no question! |

I love the guinea pig posted above. He looks kind of like one I had named "Checkers." |

My cat, Jordan, had the same thing almost six years ago. I was in Ohio at the time(I live in Illinois.) and my parents had to take him to an emergency hospital. The vet asked me if I wanted her to go through with the surgery because of its cost. The total bill was about $1200. He's been on a prescription diet since then, but has had no trouble whatsoever since that time. His ten pound bag of Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Feline costs $25, but it lasts almost three months. Jordan will be 15 in May and has never been better. |

 Poor baby has to wear a coat outside it is so cold  Cats... Toby the Chocolate Point Siamese and 20 lbs  And Jasmine who is at the damn roses again, lol... I swear they have been the cats favorite rubbing spot since I got them from hubby on V-Day:)

I need to stay in this thread and not be messing around with my computer, lol. Am I the only one who examines all the background details in all the pictures (along with the animals, of course!). It's so weird to think all you live in houses and stuff lol!

Westernbulldogs, thanks for letting me know about Jordan. That makes me feel much better. Hopefully the results for my guy will be the same, the crystals will go away and the Science diet will keep them away.
