My Aussie-born cat, Jordan, was put to sleep Thursday afternoon, finally succumbing to Chronic Heart Failure and Chronic Renal Failure. He was 17 years old.
Even though he lived here in the states for over nine years with me, he still retained a bit of an Aussie accent in his meows. I will miss him tremendously.

I'm sorry to here about Jordon, he's beautiful, and he must have been very happy to have lived this long.

Thanks for your kind words. It was rather sad around the house today. I kept expecting Jordan to walk into the living room and jump on my lap. A friend brought
flowers, so I placed them on the front window sill near the headrest of the sofa where Jordan used to love to lay on his lambswool rug.

I understand, Bulldog, I lost two cats in three months. They were sisters and 15 1/2 years old. One I had to put to sleep, the other one I woke up two weeks
ago and she had passed in the night. Our family has lost two dogs and three cats since the end of June. It does get better.
