Besides, I think Gretchen was kind of playing dumb because she didn't want the others to think she's a supreme gold digger. She probably already had the papers drawn up. The ho ain't as dumb as she plays!I agree with this. Gretchen plays for the cameras. That girl has admitted her lust for all things gold & blingy. No way did she not make sure she had a piece of Kenny Rogers' pie. And did anyone catch her slip? She said something about it being 25 years since she graduated? Even if she's talking about grade school graduation, that would put her well into her thirties. |

At first I thought she was lying about her age but then I thought maybe she's just really bad at math.  How old does she claim to be on the show? (edit: just checked her bio, says 30)

I would definitely believe the bad
math excuse. But she claims to be just 30, and like a lot of people on the show, I suspect she's chopping off a couple years.

I also agree with an earlier poster who said the insurance business isn't recession proof. I know I've seen several articles that mentioned insurance companies were considering also asking for a government bailout just like the auto industry. Here's one from back in October: http://www.nytimes.com/20...5/business/25bailout.html And like the earlier person implied, most people, if they have to cut expenses, they're not going to see insurance as necessity like food or rent or gas for your car, so it's among the first expenses to go. The other problem for insurance companies is that they invest heavily into real estate. Not single family houses but large downtown skyscrappers, etc.. I wouldn't be at all surprised if, like single family homes, that type of real estate has also dropped in value. So I doubt Vicki is raking it in like she used to. And I like that thought.

Okay, I quit watching this... I just don't like it but I had to watch the Vicki falling on her face. That was PRICELESS. But this show makes me sick. I
mean it. I think I am very upset by all of it.
And does anyone think that its odd that a 7 year old boy would goose and touch women? That kind of sexually agressive behavior is common to children molested. I have always "joked" about that mother/son thing.. I don't think so anymore. Seriously. I hope I am wrong. |

I am watching the Soup and I think that is enough for reality for me. I can't watch this show. I just feel dirty. The thing with marrying the dead KR jr on
his deathbed? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? My god!!!
And I don't know anyone who shares sexual gestures with their mother. I may be reading more into this but I had to go to a workshop on how to identify inappropriate relationships between minors and children.. and no it wasn't because I am a cougar... i thought that too but I cut off at 21! I tutor elementary students and we all had to do this as part of the district's plan. And one of the things was kids touching you around the genitalia and using adult vocabulary that is sexual. And given the last 8 years of having no sex ed and being left behind they do and say the darndest things. But that can't be Nugget's excuse nor Tamra for what went on at that dinner. That kid was predatory towards Gretchen. There is just RED FLAGS but you mothers would know if I am being alarmist or not. |

Yeah, I see your point. Something went very wrong in the upbringing of Nugget Sr. He definitely had a hyper-sexualized youth, growing up around all of
Tamra's stripper friends. Not to mention a mother who at best seems to have elastic sexual boundaries.

well I agree with glams, the show is unwatchable. It's disgusting. I haven't seen this week's episode yet but I feel like I "have" to

It seems in this thread now you are all now sympathetic to Lynne. Did they edit her in a better light? I think of course we all still hate Lynne-- she is still a shallow materialistic bad mother leatherface-- but you feel that you like her more now because when you compare ANYONE on TV to Tamra, Vicki and Jeana, they seem nice and somewhat human. Lynne is aware at these group things, that the camera is there and won't bring herself down to that level- and 99.9% of the population wouldn't either. Gretchen is also disgusting but when compared with Tamra and Vicki, she is legions above them. It is the way they treat other people that makes them the lowest of lows. You know Dante reserves the lowest rung of hell for traitors to benefactors which is where these chics will wind up. |
