So they're friends now? How the fuck is that going to work? I mean it's an unexpected turn, but the whole point of this show is the waring camps
angle. I guess their going the frenemies route, but I still don't get how they will actually ring better drama out of repairing a friendship so early in
the season. And as an Ivy Leaguer, I can tell you that none of these kids is getting into any of those colleges on just grades and SAT's alone. They seem
too preoccupied with partying and not involved in enough extracurricular activities. Plus, the trust fund madness? That's not how a trust fund works. I
groaned throughout most of the last two episodes. One more strike and I'm out.

Blair is clearly the best character. Who else should the show revolve around? Her and Chuck are the only interesting characters.

I think I just heard somewhere that the ratings for this show were great and that it's been picked up for next season or something...or maybe for the full
season of episodes. Something like that. So who is watching this? I was debating downloading to get caught up, but what I see here makes me think it's
not really worth it...

Ratings for this show aren't great at all, but it has been picked up for a full season because the CW has absolutely nothing to replace it with.
Basically they're stuck with whatever crappy shows they have this season. |

Actually it's getting better ratings than Veronica Mars.
You psychotic VM fans need to shut the fuck up. That show got cancelled coz it sucked. They gave it a million chances and did everything they could and it still got shitty ratings. It is NEVER coming back and I'm glad. I hated that smart ass bitch Veronica. |

Well it's no wonder why Gossip Girl is doing slightly better there are hardly any other teen shows on network television. It's not doing so much
better. It's essentially in a vaccum, because not only did the O.C. disappear, but so has Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, and Charmed. Let's see what
happens when it has more competition, like say when One Tree Hill returns.

They aren't really comparable other than the fact that VM clearly had enough viewers to make it through this season (and get a real ending?), if this is
how GG is doing.
