Gee, thanks, ER. I'll go take an antidepressant now. This was the worst revival of a character since they pointlessly brought back Doctor Susan.

Sam resents her working on patients under the influence. It has nothing to do with who ended up with Luka. Sam and Abby had been friends despite that up until now.

Sam is queen of bringing non-work crap to work and affecting everyone at the ER. Anyone remember her ex and what he did to Abby and Luka there? Sam needs to just shut up. Abby is handling her addiction. She told the board what she did and is now taking the necessary steps to get better. Sam and Gates getting together is the end of ER for me. Abby and Neela are just not enough to make up for Sam, Gates, and Pratt. I just don't care enough anymore to watch. This show is just plain awful now.

She's a natural at helping people, she is intuitive about diagnoses, and she truly loves what she does. Watching drunk Abby self-destruct was almost more than I could bear. Everyone else, besides Luka, can go straight to hell, for all I care.

I haven't watched this week's episode yet - but I finally watched last week's Greg centric episode. I agree that Pratt just can't carry an episode. The 30 second skip button on my TiVo was getting a work out every time he's on screen. His storylines are lame and he always seems to have some generic girl friend. Has he ever dated one memorable woman? Not that I can recall. Re the Sam/Luka romance. Didn't Sam leave Luka? I swear she moved out on him against his wishes - but it was long ago and I don't remember that well. (I always find it funny how the ER writers make the unbelievable gorgeous and charming Luka a little deperate with his women. I'm sure in the real world the drop like flies at his feet daily. I remember reading very recently that the actor is being forced to pay for a kid he had with a woman who is not his wife - he refused to admit paternity until the mother forced a DNA test.)
