Can anybody clue me in on whatever happened to Neelah's boy, Harold? I kind of miss the little dork.

The rest of this ER season will be definite Must See TV for me. Tonight's episode, meh. I just wish they had found the poor guy's dog, Jake. I worry
about stuff like that.

Hi, long time lurker, first time poster, please be gentle. I am an MRI technologist, and I just have to comment on the "accident" that was portrayed on this episode. First of all, ER docs, interns, students, whatever, would not wheel a stretcher into the MRI room. An MRI tech, tech assistant or MRI nurse is very aware of everything, or every person that enters past that door way. They are guardians of that room and nothing that is not screened would get past them. The patient would either be transferred first to an MRI compatible stretcher, or directly onto a detachable MRI table that was wheeled out of the MRI room. Also, if the stretcher was indeed pulled into the magnet as portrayed, the patient would be dead, or at least very badly injured. |

Hi Kristi. I can't make any promises for others around here, but I'll be gentle. Welcome to the board.
My sister is also an MRI tech and I'm sure she'd be pitching a fit if she were watching that tonight as well. I know you are absolutely correct in everything you say. The girl can't even keep a watch working no matter which kind she buys. And no doctor would "stoop" to transporting their own patients even down a hall let alone for X-rays. But I gave up fussing on TV being real a long time ago. I'm a court reporter and every time I see a show with a court reporter on it, they're always fake. It drives me crazy. So it's only fair to spread the "fakeness" around to all professions. |

Thanks for the welcome.
I've seen lots of radiology errors on the show, from films hung upside down, to ER docs running a CT scan instead of a CT tech. And just bit my tongue. But this just really got to me. This patient would be dead, and the MRI would be down for several weeks with the damage that was done during the "accident." |

Sorry, hit reply before I meant to.
I know personally of a tech, that had her arm broken when a non-compatible wheelchair was brought in the MRI room. No patient in the chair, thankfully. The chair became a projectile when wheeled in the room. She was pinned between the chair and the MRI and had her arm broken. The stretcher as portrayed in the episode, would have caused some damage to the patient and the machine. |

But I gave up fussing on TV being real a long time ago.And for real non reality watch "House." The doctors on that show do all the tests, surgeries and go to people's homes to find diagnoses. |

After missing all of last season and all but the last three weeks of this one, but knowing that it's the very last season, I don't get why they are
making Basset heavy episodes with her backstory and shit. Unless they are planning to make a spin off of her character, I don't see what the point is as it
is pointless.

It was cool seeing Apollo Creed.

Not long ago there was a little girl who was killed when an oxygen tank was left in the room during her MRI.

Yep, Carl Weathers.
Also, did you notice that Angela Bassett's real hubby (Courney Vance) is playing her hubby? Nice touch. I get the feeling that the remainder of the season will be a homage to the past and all the great characters, i'm looking forward to seeing them all. |

I didn't know he was her RL hubby!

I agree - way TOO MUCH Angela Bassett time. I have a feeling her contract was written to guarentee a certain number of minutes of airtime a week or something.
I could care less about her character.
The Daria thing seems a bit off kilter. Is what's his name really that oblivious - or is he just pretending to be? Also what happened with the diabetic kid - everything is hunky-dory now? Last I remember she sent him off to special kids boarding school. I guess I missed the coming home episode. I still love Neela and I'm glad they are giving her some decent storylines this season - no longer just playing Harold's straight man. I'm not so into the previous season's retrospectives. By the time the Drs Greene, Carter, and Benton characters left the show, I was relieved. All had worn out their welcomes to me. Now, if they would bring back Carol or the George Clooney guy - I'd be all in.

I am sooooo tired of Neela being one tequila shot away from banging any thing with a pulse.
Seriously. She is a gigantic whore. |

I tried not to be spoiled, although I knew Greene was coming back. It was nice to see Weaver, Romano and Jerry. Glad they are acknowledging the past without
ramming it down our throats with a sappy unrealistic reunion.

Self-indulgent mess.
Although nice to see the old guard for a minute, I just don't care about Angela Bassett's character at all. |
