As cornball as that was -- the heavy narrative reading from Job 3:21, the plink-plink piano music -- I still teared up like a sap when they went to the wall of
nametags -- and double points for Archie not knowing that she was leaving and hijacking her final moment. It was a great way to cut the treacle.

This is ER's cream of the crop? The show is doomed.Last season, dude. They can do whatever the hell they please. It would have been nice to have my favorite show for umpteen years end on a high note, rather than the dregs, though. |

Yeah, I bawled through the last half of the show... especially the wall of nametags.
I also liked how they handled Abby & Neela's good-bye during surgery. It was sad without seeming forced. Seemed like a huge waste of Goran just to have him pick up Abby at the end. It would have been a nicer touch if it was a surprise, but they had his fricken name at the credits. |

I still liked the episode but I thought the way Abby left was pretty fucked up. How would you feel if someone you had worked with for 10 years just quit and
didn't tell you till she was walking out the door and then it was just kinda "see ya"?

I thought her not telling anyone was very Abby. I've always loved that she's so disfunctional and so very human. And, actually, a bit realistic.
I'd love to just be able to walk away instead of having all the drama.
I thought is was an ok last episode but not great. I'd much rather her freak out to have been on the A.B. character and to that turn the AB character a bit into being slightly more human. I think that was a BIG missed oportunity. I will miss Abby, she's been the best thing for years on ER. I always especially enjoyed the friendship between Abby and Nelah. |

Actually I'm surprised Abby survived to the end. I just knew that kid was going to jerk her off the roof, or plunge that needle into her when she talked
him down. And no t-boning at the intersection just as they pull out? ER is losing it! jk, I'm happy that Abby went off with her Croatian hunk for a
happy-ever-after in Boston.
I don't read any ER spoilers, are the blasts from the past going to be spread throughout the rest of the season or is there going to be one big reunion episode? |

Tonight just further reminded me how fucked up it was to lose Ray from this show. I know it was so he could make movies (of which he has 4 coming out this
year), but I just love his character.
I bet he ends up with Neela in the last episode somehow. Shane West, yum. I didn't really pay much attention to the rest of the ep to be honest. |

Yeah Ray is one of those that I started out hating then ended up really liking. Of course, that is the pattern with most ER docs. They start out as assholes
and end up as lovable assholes ;-)

Wow....Parminder was smokin' hot last night. I have a tiny girl crush on her. Loved the uncomfortable convo between Ray and Brennan with Neela in the
middle. Sam and Gates are hitting some speed bumps. It's about time for Gates to move on to his next f*ck now, isn't it? And seriously?....Angela
Bassett's character just needs to pull the stick out of her ass. Quit with this doomed foreshadowing every episode. We know she's had some tragedy in
her past regarding her son(s). Frankly, I don't care about her past and am not interested in her character. She's a short-timer so get on with the
reveal already.

Los Angeles (E! Online) - George Clooney may not have forgotten where he came from after all. Despite adamant denials that he would be reprising his role as ER's Dr. Doug Ross before NBC pulls the plug on the seminal medical show in May, Clooney's former partner in scrubs is telling a different tale. "From what I heard, George said, 'absolutely,' schedule permitting," Noah Wyle tells TV Guide. Clooney publicist Stan Rosenfield tells E! News the actor is aware of Wyle's remarks in the magazine but does not have any new comment. In any case, there's no word on what Clooney's storyline would be or whether he would be joined onscreen by TV wife Julianna Margulies, another alum who has remained mum on a return. "I would love to see a little view into their life in Seattle," Wyle says. "Or wherever the hell they're living now." A more definite guest star is Eriq La Salle, who, Wyle spills, will absolutely be making the trip back to County General to reprise his role as Dr. Peter Benton, in a subplot coinciding with Wyle's. |

The Carter/Benton relationship was my favorite one on this show. I kind of wish they wouldn't revisit it because I like how it ended (same with Carol/Doug)
but it'll be cool to see some of these characters again.

I still hate Romano and thought they did an excellent job
killing him off! If would have only been better if they'd had a couple of shots of him burning to death in agony, unable to speak.
