Wasn't she Carter's love interest on ER? Before he left for France to be with Thandie Newton? Think she was in Twin Peaks also.

^ TY! She was from the psych ward and dated Carter a bit. I think her name was Wendall. Also, I think she was on Joey as the girl next door that he liked.

I'm watching the Law & Order eppie about the faulty Body Armor, the Sgt in the wheelchair was Eddie McGee, winner of Big Brother season 1. He was pretty good. I believed he actually only had one leg.... oh wait.

Quote: I loved the way L&O revived and further exposed Mel Gibson's anti-Semitic vitriol, and then ramped it up a few degrees with that sick father-son infested relationship. Quote: That was a good one. |

I like how they gave the episode a "viewer discretion advised" for "strong language" at the beginning. that must be how they got away with "tits".

The women are always terrible on this show, what do you expect? I think the blond lawyer was worse than she is.

I have a crush on Sam Waterston. Always have. I don't watch this show all that often, but when I do, it's for him. He's just so... distinguished.
Then I Netflixed The Great Gatsby the other day because I hadn't seen in 15 years, and low and behold! He's Nick Carraway! He does quite a bit of voice-over narration in the film, and I didn't recognize his voice at all. I guess he was only 34, but it didn't have any of that trademark scratchiness in it. I barely recognized his face, either. So anyway, I Googled him and found out that he is actually exactly my father's age. Which majorly killed my crush. Because it's not like my parents had me when they were really young.... He's 66! Do you believe it? I guess I assumed when he came to the show that he was in his mid-40s and was now creeping up on mid-50s. But no. He's social security aged! Wow. While I've officially abandoned my crush for age-related reasons, he still looks pretty good for a guy who is going to be 70 in a few years. |

i wouldn't be surprised if Waterson admitted he has Parkinson's disease. His head shakes ever so slightly in many scenes.

Yes, Sam is truly lovely beyond description. Loved him in Gatsby and have ever since then. I, too, have wondered about the Parkinson's-like tremors.

Sam's in some sort of commercial. I forget the product. It's either insurance, drugs or cars, though. I'm just distracted by the fact that he's in a commercial at all. You'd think that Law and Order would be paying him enough so that he doesn't have to pimp himself out like that...

the commerical you are referring to is for a borkerage firm called T D Waterhouse.
Steven Hill, who played the D.A in L&O for so many years, was also a spokeperson for this firm. |

I usually hate how the suspects crumble and tell everything in detail about what happened when confronted w/ circumstantial evidence at best but tonight when that didn't happen? Things felt open ended which I didn't like.
Tonight's L&O needed a Justice style ending showing what actually happened b/c there was no closure. Did the GF act on her own or did the CEO tell her to kill the man? I NEED TO KNOW. Ugh. Anyway..I haven't watched really this season but was home and tuned in and was entertained. Really good episode for classic L&O these days. The lesbian thing was hot. Just sayin.. |
