Did anyone else noticed that Sam Waterston seemed to shake a little less this year? Last year, his head seemed to bobble slightly when he talked and his voice
was a little halting. Could have been an acting effect, but this year, he seems more steady and his voice was more forceful.

This show is still pretty much perfect as always.

Yes it is. And it was wonderful to see Jack McCoy kickin' ass and takin' names.

Last night's ep was ridiculous and irritating. Hope it doesn't happen again.

Yeah, I didn't love it either. The killer was smart enough to con several men out of alot of money and get away with it, but she's so dumb that she
falls for Cutter's line of shit after he'd been grilling her? I didn't buy it.
Also, I don't like Cutter. Jack McCoy was just too awesome as the prosecuter. It would be hard to measure up, but Cutter isn't even a pale imitation. He just kind of sucks. Lupo could be hot if he shaved and dropped 30 pounds. Was he in Funhouse? He was pretty sexy back then. |

I liked the epi - but I was hoping for Sisto to get naked.....

BackBayBerries wrote:Exactly. This is Law and Order: Criminal Intent type crap, which is why I stopped watching this show. It's like Goren always being able to say exactly what is necessary to mind-fuck the perp into confessing. I checked it out when he was replaced, but his replacement is just as bad so I dropped it again. And as for the season premiere: PLEASE! You can't prosecute the Bush administration. I know they did it to be topical and relevant, but seriously |

I love Sisto and Roache. I thought this was a weak ep but there aren't many I feel that way about.

I love Sisto and Roache too (didn't know their real names before). They are my favorite pairing since Lenny and Ray. God, I miss Lenny.

Linus Roache plays Cutter the DA. |

Of course he does. |

Whoops. I meant Jeremy Sisto and Anthony Anderson......Lupo and Bernard.......the two detectives.
I don't like Cutter. He annoys me. I can tolerate him in order to watch the show, b/c it's one of my faves, but I don't like him or his retarded fake NY accent. |

I was iffy on Anderson when he joined the show, but he fucking rocks......

This is my favorite cast in a very long time. On a side note, is Epatha Merkeson leaving the show? Or are they doing the cancer storyline to flesh out her
character a little and give her a chance to show a different side (since she's been with the show for so long).

Anyone know who played the black terrorist? He looked so familiar I am thinking he was a guest star on Good Times and/or The Jeffersons but not sure if so he
would look damn good for his age

God, I miss Lenny and Logan. They were my two favourites.
Lupo and Bernard are my second favourites. And McCoy is just awesome. Don't get me wrong, I loved Ben Stone, but McCoy has really grown as a character in ways Stone never did (because Moriarty went fruit loops and left). I tracked down the first 9 seasons on torrents - now that is some good late night watching. |

"You're kidding, right?"
Wonder if they will follow up and we'll get to see Fred Thompson again. Pretty good ep: Gaffigan, J&K+8 and Octomom skewering. But I am sorry, there is NO WAY anyone in any DA's office would appear on a reality TV show in the middle of a case! Anyone know who the defense attorney was? She looked familiar. |

^That's who I was wondering too. The defendant's attorney seemed so familiar...
And yes, totally agree on how no one in the DA's office would ever appear on a reality show. But what was really frustrating was how the loan shark knew they were on to him by enlarging the screen so he could see Alana's scribbles? If he saw it on TV, then you couldn't tell, or at least I wouldn't have. The ending was funny though. And sad. Perfect reality show for VH1 though. ;) |
