I thought that it was either Sara didn't believe they had enough evidence to prove the son died a "hero", or she's going rampant on some feminist schtick where she feels she has to become the advocate for every dead girl that CSI works on.
And I saw "Ryan Starr" in the opening credits and my subconscious reminded me that I had heard that name before. Until you made the connection with AI, I didn't have a clue as to who she was. In fact, I actually thought of "Ryan" as being one of the male guest stars.
I was surprised to see Chris Mulkey who has played a husband/father in a zillion made-for-television films, now reduced to a three-minute walk-on role. Hey, whatever pays the bills I guess.
