What a shitty season. We should lock this thread and melt the key. In a year, if the show is renewed, perhaps we can pretend this season never happened. You
know, like Halloween III season of the witch...

I agree, the last challenge is very lame. Having another rush, rush challenge where the final product doesn't look very good seems pointless. They need something more Project Runway like - where the stylists really have the time to create exactly what they want. Give them five or six hours instead of the three. On other topics - I think Nicole was very, very likable - that's why she did so well in the polls. The polls have nothing to do with who is better at the challenges. I think Dee and Charlie were the two best stylists of the season, so it was good that they ended up as F2. I think the producers knew darn well that Nicole was likable - I think that's why she made it was far as she did. In the Twins challenge there was no clear winner or loser - the producers could have that judged any old way. (FYI - I liked Nicole too - I just didn't think all her stuff was all that great.) Still - I think it was a great season, they has some good stylists and some great reality TV characters. |

I just watched this season and caught up on reruns from the last. I could feel the frustration from Dee when both girls didn't want to get their hair cut.
What the hell are you doing on a show like this if you don't want to get your hair cut? My God! It will grow back. To get your hair done professionally for
the price of nothing and on top of that you are showcased on national tv. Quit your bitching! On the next season they should tell these voluteers that the
hairdressers have free access to do whatever to their hair and if they're not happy then the producers will later compensate them with either money or a
better do to their liking.

Also, the models should be more "even" for each hairdresser. Its not fair to stick thin limpness with one and not the other. Its not fair to give black dyed hair to one, and not the other. Make them all work with the most difficult hair, or at least the same level of difficulty. |

I am glad the way the season ended. Dee seemed deserving and sounded like she needed the $$.
I was trying to think if we have ever had any openly gay woman win a major reality tv competition. Anyone? Is Dee really our first?? Big Brother, TAR, Survivor, Mole, Project Runway, America's Next Top Model...none of them? Any others? |

If anyone cares (there may be one of you), Anthony (boring winner from season 1) has a regular gig on the new season of TLC's "10 Years Younger"
as...the hair stylist, obviously.

Sweet Jesus, I was at the spa today and Kim Vo (is that his name), the scary blonde Asian judge was in the locker room. Thank the Lord he was wearing a robe.
Had he been naked, I would have surely had to gouge my eyeballs out.

Random... but what the hell happened to Tabitha's Salon Takeover? I loved that dominatrix diva!

No real surprise, but the show was confirmed for a third season:

Ewwww. . .. So I guess Top Design and Step it Up and Dance will be renewed too judging by the fact both were better than Shear Genius.
