Anyone seen Blade 3? Yikes.Gretchen's acting has improved!
With the exception of Gretchen and Linc, there are some damn good actors on this show.
Linc's acting has improved also since then. Ha.

Seriously, this show just turns in circles ... many increasingly tedious circles.

I have a few complaints about this episode (although it followed up two amazing installments the last two weeks):
- Enough with the fucking tumor storyline already. For the past 8 or 9 episodes at least we're treated to scenes where Lincoln/Sara demand that Michael see a doctor, and he shrugs them off and tells them that he's fine and after this is over he'll take care of it. Then he takes a shot, makes it through half the episode alright, only to end up with either a blurry headache or a nosebleed. I'm really sick of it. Either remove the tumor or literally kill the character already. - T-Bag's redemptive story arc as a corporate salesman sucks. It was funny for a while, but I love T-Bag as the unrepentant killer who overpowers men twice his size. His body count this entire season is 1 (the Mexican guy he ate in the desert). Lame... - Gretchen comes running out of the hotel with a handgun and fights off 5 Company agents with machine guns who are positioned behind their cars. She's out in the open popping them off, then jumps into a conveniently positioned SUV, and speeds off?!? Jesus, even the A-Team wasn't that good. I did, however, love that they brought back Lang and Wheeler. I've missed their agency politics with Mahone, and it was a nice change of pace. |

Michael's real father is the general | ||
|
That last episode confirmed that Michael is the General's son. Remember the episode during the first or second season (second I think) where Michael's
hiding in the closet from his mean father (IE the General)?
And the General's comment this eppy that he always wanted a son. |

My guess is that the writers are having a ball. I love every improbable turn of events. Keep em coming.

So it appears that Lincoln has gone the way of the Company (against the wishes of Michael) because 1) he wants to save his brother's life, and 2) because
he realizes both his parents worked for the Company in their past. I appreciated the difference in opinion between the brothers: Lincoln thinking that family
comes first above all else, whereas Michael puts the big picture first even at the risk of his own life.
Mahone's plotline is boring and pointless. Enough running around with Wheeler and Lang - get this man back into the main story arc. Self/Gretchen is getting old too. Self is just a complete douchebag. When the writers went out of their way to stress that he lost his wife and he was an upstanding (and sort of spineless) agent, I had some sympathy for him. Now he's just a tool. Sucre walking off into the sunset seemed forced. He's integral to the plot of the show for the better part of 4 seasons, and he gets a 5 minute sendoff where he suddenly decides it's not worth it anymore?!? I kind of wanted to see him there at the end for the happy finale. At least they didn't kill him off I suppose. And for the love of Christ, please bring back the old T-Bag! |

sir debb eaton hogg wrote: You're probably right but how did the last eppie confirm it - besides Michael in a closet? In that case, are Michael and the General's daughter siblings and Linc and Michael only half brothers? The show started with Linc framed and practically executed (that was a powerful episode) - wasn't The Company behind that? With both parents working for them why would they have used the son of employees? Can anyone remember why the Vice President's brother (or whoever that was) was hidden away pretending like he was murdered? I forget why that happened - except as a plot twist to get Linc in jail on framed murder charges. If they're going to wrap up story lines because the series may be done after Season 4 (and no matter what the actors said on ET Canada, if Fox thinks it can still squeeze money from the series don't be shocked to see it revived), then I hope they have a better story line for Mahone than having him on the run again. His character is so good I'd watch a series with him starring - perhaps working for The Company or something. Can Sucre just walk back to his old life? Was he pardoned? I agree that Self's character switch is too improbable and his acting sucks. In no way is he believable as a "bad guy" . T-Bag and Gretchen have that market covered between them. Luckily Linc is still great eye candy so don't care that he cant act. Well, it'll be interesting to see how and if they wrap up all the loose ends in the next episode. From the start this was great TV in so many ways from the acting, settings (the Sona prison set was outstanding), storylines and compelling characters. Lots of suspensful hours

I want old T-Bag back too.
I also love how he can overpower anyone (with a fake hand no less) .... except when it comes to the brothers and then he is a pussy ragdoll. Can't wait for next weeks ep! |
