It was the first time that the first half of the show was worse then the second part. I loved Vincent Price's Valentines Day sketch, Weekend Update, Wii,
and Alec Baldwins coughing acting (let me tell you about a type of music called Jazz).

Fairly average episode. I liked Vincent Price the best. Why do they keep bringing back that stupid Cougar Den sketch? Why does Cameron Diaz keep returning for
it when she wasn't funny the first time around? At least Angelina was back. "Did I hear a baby?"

The Wii sketch, the digital short, the balloon ad, and the Vincent Price sketch were great. I'm sure eventually someone will come up with a plausible
theory as to why Dan Aykroyd needed to be in the opening and who he was even supposed to be.

I enjoyed the episode as a whole---compared to last week's painfully unfunny episode. WU was entertaining the last two weeks. Who was playing J. Phoenix?
He was spot on.
The cougar sketch was just OK, but Alec as the gay cougar was funny. I wonder if the skit was written for the JBrothers to play the three young men in the skit. The Wii sketch was funny, but was the episode where a bunch of tweeny girls were watching to see the J Brothers really the appropriate one for that one? Vincent Price was entertaining, especially the hand. The digital short gets props for the hair band reference. The opening was way too long, but it had its high points. |
