THE FUNERAL

So, it was all about the funeral..'mostly' some off shots of Heather/Adam and Kevin etc.. but mostly morbid death talk and bitter eyeballing in the crowd. Yes, Brad was there to whisper HA HA HA into Jack's warty ear.
Then we had the speeches *yes, lots of them*... Brock, who was as boring but direct as he could be. I don't know Brock from past shows/years, but he sure seems like a dull character! We had Cane/Billy both talking about Kay with big hearts and yummy lies. But, the best of all (after the whining Jill) was Amber ...oh, how I love Amber. She just cut to the chase about how Mrs. C. made her feel like , well, better than trailer trash. Amber was so honest and genuine. Also, she believed in Ambie when no-one else did. ... a cold stare from Phyllis during her speech. Phyllis seems to be 'getting Amber' finally. I think she sees a lot of herself in Amber and this may lead to an unusual truce?? Then, crying 'Esther'...who calls Mrs. C. her best bud. Esther talks of how she crashed the limousine with Mrs. C. in the class car..but Mrs. C. forgave her! Yup, Esther at the wheel!
Also Mrs. Foster was there. I remember her from a while back..the 'original maid?' Jill's mom? She gave a touching speech. Maids rule in the Chancellor Mansion.;) She gave a classy eulogy.
And Glo/Jeffy arrived. Jeffy was totally 'rude' as he wanted to know how she could be killed before he got the stocks. He's one cold bastard.

Naturally, everyone was staring at Victor and making comments...and he just stared like a zombie into the Twilight Zone while bitchy Ashley gave her brother a cold, not beloved stare to her . Ashley is such a prick. I agree, she snubs Nikki, she prances in with Victor like she's the bloody queen of funerals and she feels she doesn't have to share with anyone. (NOTE: she really didn't want to help Nikki when she was first confronted...yes, remember that point..she didn't give a flying f..k.) Now, she's sacking the moustache and acting like Sabrina never existed. I hope Sabrina comes back and sticks her fav. art piece up that bitches ass.

it's an emotional time in Genoa City.. right.
A clever part of the ceremony was the 'thoughts' spoken out loud near the end of the ceremony. The camera panned to a specific character 'reading their mind'..IE: Nikki up first with her guilt rant, then Esther, then Sharon wishing she had turned to Katherine for advice on Jack..then, Glo ,"watch over her John", to Neil, "take good care of her Drusilla, to Danny.."watch over her Dad"..to Lauren, "never had a chance to say goodbye" to Tracey, "well sis, I hope you know what you're getting involved with (Victor)..to Dina, "hmmm, hmm, hmm, I should come back more often, Europe is so dull to this place!" to Jeff.."Hmmm, wonder what the face on Jack is about?" Jack, "what the hell is that bastard doing back? What's his game? I don't need you back here right now I have too many balls in the air (okay)"...to Victor, "They say vengeance is yours, Lord..I don't have time to wait that long." He's dishing the LORD ABOVE!!

Kevin spoke with Heather re: Mrs. C....saying he only was helping her with computer issues...(right Kev..LIAR) Kevin wanted to know about money 'that's not in the will..ie: in a mattress or something? Like, what happens Heather?? Like would I get to keep it Heather?? 'FINDERS KEEPERS! , she says' Oh, he liked that answer! Kevin is fighting his demons (once again)
A'dumb' for now, is celebrating with Heather..time together..his journal being published..(but he's not aware of Victor being back, alive etc... yet..but he does on Monday) That sucks Adam! I love Adam , so, I'm not happy he's going to be damned to hell and back. Adam is getting the cold , hard facts from Heather about how 'Frank the Forger' could be her ace in the hole. Well..that just about sucks the wind out of Adam. Time is a runnin' out.

Murphy finds Katherine half SUNK in the river..alive. But, he believes it is Marge (to our tremendous surprise!) Katherine doesn't know anything..she has brain freeze of the worst kind. Interesting that she survived face down in sand with half her body in a cold river for what... 24 hours... Please, the viewers have IQ's (maybe?) Katherine is 'confused...dazed and confused' re: what happened to her. She refuses to go to a hospital.

and finally... Devon and lil' sis sing 'Amazing Grace' while Victor takes off in a car before anyone can talk to him.

And...that's how it was in Genoa City on Friday , Canadian Time. A sad, sad day full of sharp remarks, balling family/friends and wicked thoughts.
