I would rather see Tommy than Rebecca or Ryan. They're both ciphers, her only purpose seems to be turning her nose up in the air/acting offended/dating
Walker brothers, while Ryan's your generic brooding brat played by an actor who would be best served by a long apprenticeship on 90210. This show has some
of the best actors around and yet those actors are lucky if they get to play second fiddle to these cardboard cutouts. They're also completely devoid of
humor. I was never crazy about the first season having so much of the phone tag and the drunk comedy, but all this dourness is so offputting. This is supposed
to be a soap. Where's the fun, and the camp?
There's just such laziness in so many of the stories. They obviously have no idea what to do with Rob Lowe, so why not just kill him off and free Kitty up? And give Kevin something to do, please, away from Rob Lowe. |

I just started watching this show from season one and I'm so addicted!!
Did you hear that Calista Flockhart (Kitty) got engaged to Harrison Ford, her real life boyfriend of over seven years?!? Congrats... they are so cute...well maybe not as cute as her and Senator McCallister ;) Ford and Flockhart to Wed? |

It really is one of the best shows on TV... and like the poster a page back said, it's because Sarah knows that Holly will hang the "helping the Walkers out by dropping the charges shit" over her head every single time she gets a chance.And then Sarah can bring up that Holly defrauded the Walkers by claiming Rebecca was one of them. Holly wouldn't have the power she enjoys now if it weren't for the fraud and the inheritance money that came with it. It's a delicious never-ending cycle of hate. Love it. |

I love that they never treat Julia like part of the family and that none of them could give a shit that she's leaving. The only bearable spouse on this
show was Scotty, and he was relegated to "Will you move the kabobs off the fireplace?"

he'll be gone forever. Thank goodness.

You can tell the writing on this show has gone downhill because the meet-cute between Kitty and Mr Mom at the party was so contrived, as if the writers said,
"Well, to make it seem like they're attracted to each other, let's just write two minutes of inane dialogue." So they decide it needs to be
about baby gas.

just got a chance to watch the DVRd ep from Sunday... I can see the douche baggery was running rampant on this episode. I kinda wish the cancer opening was
thrown in with the "lets help Tommy" story. I was interested to see how the remodeling went. I guess the writers focusing 3 to 4 episodes on the
modeling was just fodder for the Sally Field love interest storyline. If they kill off Ryan and Rebecca in a train wreck/explosion - this show could really
draw me back in!

This show is just so ridiculous. Every episode starts with a problem and ends with it perfectly solved. Except for a few main concepts--dealing with Ryan,
dealing with Holly, etc.--everything is "one and done."
In the same vein, so Greenatopia is over now? A build up for three or four episodes earlier in the year and now Sarah's gone? |
