Ew. Rebecca's with Ryan now?
I don't mind drama - especially Nora slapping Tommy. But the show is about Rebecca all too much and she's not even a Walker anymore. If they're
going to give any non-Walker more time, it should be Scotty.

How about a Saul/Ryan hookup? I mean, is that really that outlandish in comparison to other things this season? That would really freak Nora out.

The reason why the show is in a rut is because it's become the fucking Holly and Rebecca show. And it would be highly unbelievable if the Walkers
didn't want Tommy to go to jail for a committing a crime, most families would react the same way. The problem is that this show won't shed characters
that no longer serve a purpose. Rebecca's romance with Justin is just ewww! They rewrote Justin's entire history for the sake of coupling them up so
they wouldn't lose the character. Justin said he wasn't attracted to Rebecca at all when he met her. To think that feelings developed as they grew to
know each other as brother and sister is disturbing. The Holly/Tommy business drama was at least a good attempt at giving Tommy a meatier storyline
considering he's the weakest sibling as far character development. However, now the issue is that with Tommy out of the family business there's no use
for Holly. Julia certainly isn't going to take his place. Sarah has no interest is returning to battle with Holly. And Nora has already proven herself
inept at the family business. I still think the Walkers have a case with demanding the money they gave Holly when they thought Rebecca was a Walker. It was
given in bad faith. I love to hate Holly, but she hasn't gotten a comeuppance in a long time and I'm tired of waiting for a payoff. Now with
Tommy's exit her purpose as the hateful adulterous slut that continues to torment the family will cease to be relevant. This last episode proves that no
one in the family gives a fuck about the business anymore.

I disagree that it is in a rut because of the focus on Rebecca and Holly. No I didn't like it when the producers made Rebecca not a walker, and that was
only the first of many mistakes that put this show into a corner it can't seem to get out of. The writers seem to have lost the wholesome goodness the show
first had. I remember the first season when I used to want to be a part of the Walker clan by the end of the show, it was entertaining but real. Now I wanna
jump out a window because it always ends on a sour note. Name the last funny One liner you heard come from Kevin or just plain fun story like Nora smoking
marijuana. It is in a rut because the writers seem to have no direction and are just throwing things out there to see what sticks. I would have liked to see
more about Sarah and Greenatopia, or Nora and the Home for Children. Instead the writers let the douchebag that plays Tommy get to them so now they have
concocted this stupid storyline to try and push him off the show. He was always the weakest Walker and focusing so much on him this season has made the show
weaker. If Tommy and Robert both dies I am 100% sure this show can get back to where it was.

I don't think the show is in a rut (now)? Tonight and last week have been the best episodes of the season. I think the season has been lacking otherwise,
but I loved the last two weeks. And I take Holly's side on this one. She is a major bitch, but I despise Tommy even more.

Sarah has no interest is returning to battle with Holly.I used to think that, but after seeing tonight's episode it wouldn't surprise me if somehow Sarah had a change of heart and returned to take on Holly, if for no other reason than to take Holly down a notch (now that she thinks she has won and has rid herself of all Walkers). I love to hate Holly, but she hasn't gotten a comeuppance in a long time and I'm tired of waiting for a payoff.X |

Sorry, I love to hate Holly. Whereas I'm indifferent to Tommy. And this current storyline is not playing out at all the way I had hoped. I really wanted
Holly to get screwed. Ousting her from Ojai would've wounded her character not killed it. She'd still own a good chunk of the company, but she
wouldn't be top dog anymore. Of course she'd try to claw her way back to the top, but ultimately it would've lead to a longer story arc as opposed
to this dead end. And as much as everyone tries to blame Sarah for the company's downfall it was really Saul's fault. I like the drama that's
come out of this story just not the direction. The focus on Rebecca is just infuriating considering she's no longer a Walker. She's also not that
interesting either.

It reminded me about how much I miss their interaction. I was wishing that Sarah would do a hostile takeover sometime in the future with her Greenotopia success, but that's not going to happen. Sarah doesn't want to deal with Holly at all. If she really wanted to push her out she would've convinced Tommy to help her push Holly out as opposed to quitting.

Yeah I guess I just really want the company drama over and start focusing on the family more...more Sarah...more Saul and Scotty...

Um, last week was the worst episode of the entire duration of the show. They hinted that they were going to kill that motherfucking useless Robert -- in fact,
they DID kill him -- and yet brought him back to life to waste time in this episode. And for what reason? Character development for Calista Flockhart!

Fast paced, fun conflict, interesting relationships (loved the Kevin/Senator love), like Ryan, love Tommy going down, love Rebecca telling off asshole brother... It's all good and I have no concerns that Sarah etc...will get their moments in the dark sun too. |

it is not stuck it a rut - yes it was earlier this year etc, but its been engaging recently. Holly and Rebecca are good actors and important to the show! <3
holly <3
And it would be beyond tacky if Ryan starts to date Rebecca.oh but it would be so much fun! we just know it'll happen. this whole Tommy thing is the perfect time to get rid of Julia via divorce though. No one likes that bore.

Holly serves no purpose once Tommy exits. And if Rebecca starts dating Ryan I might have to give up on this show. I don't care how talented the actresses
are, but I can't see what they would do with Holly's character once Tommy is gone. And I've never been a fan of Rebecca. I love the actress but I
can take or leave her character. I've been waiting for Rebecca's exit ever since she was de-Walker'd. She's served her purpose. And even
Nora won't be able to defend her and include her in family functions if she starts dating Ryan. So the opportunities for Walker awkward moments won't
happen because I can't imagine Nora choosing Ryan over Justin, especially if seeing Rebecca with Ryan would cause a relapse

if the actress is good there are always ways to find a relevant story arc for them. like mentioned upthread, Nora could always feel the urge to come back to
Ojai, and the writers can find a way to make that happen.

I think the past few episodes have been great. But then again, I think my views are skewed.
I fucking hate the Walkers. I want them all to die except for (gasp) Kitty and sometimes Nora. I am having fun rooting for Holly and I want her to destroy this awful family. And I want Rebecca to go for it with Twilight Walker. And I want Robert to die. Things are going my way so far this season, although I realize I'll likely be sorely disappointed at the end of it all. |

If you really desired to be part of this great new family -- enough that you were apparently willing to never go back to your crummy job at a coffee shop and,
well, just blow off the man that raised you -- if you were will to go through all that, then why in holy hell would you hit on your new brother's
girlfriend the very night they broke up?
Quite honestly, I'd love to see an entire episode featuring Scotty and Paige, and one that didn't even mention Robert. |
