I watched the first 30 mins of the new MADTV tonight, and I was very disappointed. The Super Duper Millionair sketch was boring and I almost fell asleep during that Condo Report sketch. Stephanie Weir at her worst. It's too bad that this show is going down the crapper.

Seriously, when the show had 2 sketches focusing around Bobby Lee, it's obvious it will be bad. The sketch where he worked in an airport and spoke like an idiot just seemed like a male Miss Swan, just without it actually being in any way funny. Also, the one where he was the leader of North Korea was also just incredibly lacking in the humor department. I did like how they made of the M&M/Wizard of Oz commercial.

I liked the Joke about Horatio Sanz, hehehe. It was so true. The Wizard of Oz sketches and the View Parody, as well as the 7am Condo report... how can you say "Stephnie Weir at her worst"? Stephnie is awesome.

My favorite (recent) commercial was the one where they were making fun of the Crest White Strips Commercial. You know:
"You're the one who had a baby, and then gave it up to social services!" |

------This past episode was pretty great IMO. The best sketches were the Cold Case sketch- I LOL'd when Nicole was dancing and she had hairy pits, the music they kept playing was hilarious, Stephnie's hair- LOL, the whole dead girl trying to tell her to brush her hair and when she caught the killer "Yeah....no..... oh yeah.... uh no... *slow motion* oh yessssss". Awesome parody of the TV show------
constipated, that sketch was hilarious, funniest one i've seen in awhile, and i've never even watched cold case. I loved how they kept playing old songs and changing the words to fit the series, and when she went to get the evidence and the last box was "evidence to help solve the case"; it was a great send-up, and yeah, the hair bit was hilarious too, I have seen that woman who stars in it and that's spot on. |

I really loved this show, up until most of my favorite castmembers left; Mo Collins, Nicole Sullivan, Debra Wilson, and Will Sasso. I loved watching Lorraine, Stuart, Trina, and Oprah. I always look forward to watching reruns on Comedy Central.

Am I the only one who watched it on Saturday?
I was happy to see Mo again, but I pretty much despised the Hollywood Squares sketch. Tha whole Andra thing was funny last year, but not so much anymore. I did like the Jenny Jones, Melanie Griffith and Ellen Degeneres impressions. The MADtv women have been, are now and always will be for the most part, funnier than their male counterparts. I loved the Brown sketch. That was hilarious. I disliked the Tow Truck Man sketch. I hate most of Michael McDonalds characters these days and I am kinda thankful that he is supposedly leaving. Next week will be the first Stuart sketch without his Mothers presence... it will probably tank, and it's kinda awful that the characters send off will be without his mother, who has been a staple part of that character for its entire 6 season run. I LOVED the Dog sketch! It was so hilarious. Good job by both Mo and Josh on that one. I missed the "shot in the head" sketch, but I heard that Daniele did a great job; and all Keegan did was yell. There has been alot of talk about Keegan Michael Key, and how he is the "next Stephnie Weir" but so far, none of his characters have been anything but loud. I'd like to see him in some more non yelling parts, because I really do think he is great. The Kappa Kappa Kappa sketch was pretty bad, because of the mere fact that they tried to cover up Debra and Jill's departures by sticking 2 of the new girls in their roles. It was weird. It was nice to see the Lorraine encore. That sketch was classic. |

I was expecting it to be horrible, especially without Mo. It was actually kind of funny. They did a lot of TV and movie spoofs, which I love.

The Amazing Presidential Race was hilarious. The alternate opening credits bits were also great. My favourite was the Y&R rip-off. Pitch-perfect!
The only thing I didn't find funny was the over-enthusiastic movie guy. The Social Studies girl was great too. What' her character name again. "It's just the President! It's not like it's Jessica Simpson or anything." |

I have actually heard for different sources on Josh, some say he left, some say he got fired.
I loved the Amazing Presidential race last night, and also the first skit with the girl and the camara, I forget her name but I love her skits. Everything else really wasnt funny. Michael McDonald cannot pull off being an A&F boy. They should just let those skits die. |

I think they've been reading this board. Ken Jennings as an android and Alex Trebek trying to kill him have been brought up on this board numerous times. I liked that entire skit. I didn't really like the crazy guy outside the movies.

The Social Studies girl making the movie of trying to talk to the President was SO freaking funny. Same goes for Mirna and Shmirna in the Presedential Race. The guy outside the movies got old, fast.
