Somehow I always thought that Madtv would have a more glorious end, but it was always obvious ever since last season. I mean, the cast, the writing, the
audience, everything appeared to be so uninspired. I hope that, if Madtv does get picked up, it starts fresh and better and not as a continuation of the
current show we're watching.

Last season really killed my interest for the show. I'll still miss it though.

With any luck, Al Franken will be available as a writer very soon.

Arden haters I'm sure weren't too happy with tonight's episode, she got a lot of airtime and Nicole, Erica and Lauren combined got 3 roles in 2
sketches total. Aside from that and the awful "Phoning It In" sketch which was phoned in big time, not a bad episode though. At the very least
Arden got one of her very, very few recurring characters to come back.

Having another best of episode this season HATE. -_- Should have replayed that hilarious S12 ep instead with the Secret Santa thing, Luann Lockheart and Tickle
Me Emo and saved the new ep for actual new material. -_-

I wonder what would have happened if the cast of MadTV and the cast of SNL swapped places? Not that it would ever happen, but just for the sake of argument.

I've always thought MadTV had better writers and better actors than SNL.
Even a terrible episode of MADTV (unless iit's an hour episode of Bobby Lee skits) still trumps SNL. Nicole Parker and Debra Wilson would probably be megastars now if that were to happen. |

I agree, road.
I'm still not happy that it's being cancelled. |

What was the skit with the new black female cast member? I can't recall her name, maybe Erica? She was a teacher for a yoga class and there was this huge
fat man in it.... Anyone have the youtube link for that?

Isn't this the last season, I thought MadTV got canned. The last time I watched the show really went downhill, I use to love watching the show until slowly
all the great castmembers left one by one.

Yeah, last season. I wish MadTv would have a great final episode..a 2 hour reunion of sorts, bringing back some of the greats.

Okay, I know there's no MADtv related news to report, but I watch clips from the show ALL THE TIME and I honestly find
it such a shame thatit was cancelled. For the past couple of years I've found it to be consistently funnier than the tripe that's produced by SNL. I
thinkI likeMADtv more because it doesn't feel the need to parody every predictable pop culture phenomenon;rather the show relied onactual funny, fresh,
creative characters that always brought the
Stephnie Weir really should be so much more famous than she is. Every single skit that she's in is a classic, regardless of whether she's just reduced to the role of a supporting character. I am obsessed with Glamazon Huntresses |
