Another rerun, of episode 2 of this season. Was a very good episode! Would rather see something new though
 We do have at least 2 new episodes over the
next 2 weeks though.
If the show isn't already dead now (which probably all but the obsessed fans would probably say at this point given how much its fallen since the start of season 13) certainly could be by season end by cast attrition. Nicole's definately gone, and with them both having such long a tenure, KMK and Bobby Lee could be likely departures as well once the season's over. Hopefully Crista & Arden would be around for atleast one more season since they've only in their fourth year. Quid would die if Crista was to leave.

It'll never make sense to me how after such a high quality season in S12 the show could have fallen so fast from both a production and casting standpoint.
It still blows my mind that they've let the regular cast members fall to a mere 5 (Johnny Sanchez doesn't count! :P) for this year. I know that the
featured players have been rather poor the last couple of seasons, but at the very least Dan Oster should have been kept around.
The only good news for Quid is that there's a ton of old seasons full of good material that he has yet to see. Wish they'd release more on DVD

why doesn't Johnny Sanchez count as a castmember? Because he does stereotypical mexican characters? How is it any different to Bobby Lee doing
stereotypical asian characters, or Arden doing stereotypical white bimbo bitches? And don't try and tell me that they are justified as castmembers because
they are funny, because no.
I actually like Johnny. That character outside the ipod store the other week was great, better than anything Arden's done in ... pretty much ever. MADtv hasn't had new episodes during October in forever. They don't even try during play-offs. The next new episode is the 1st November, with Ne-Yo as a guest star. Then the 8th with Jeff Probst for the ten millionth time.

AKB: I've found Sanchez a completely unfunny character since he premiered last year. Its not that he does stereotypical mexican characters, its that
pretty much all he does is stereotypical mexican characters. How many sketches did he star in last year where he did something other than that? I can think
of one that was actually funny (Gotcha Squad), but outside of that there it seemed to be all Rice & Beans, Nacho Fernandez, etc... which gets old very
fast. Yes, Bobby Lee does stereotypical asian characters, but thats not all he does. He also gets very little airtime. If one watched an episode last season
without the opening credits, they'd think that Dan Oster was the regular cast member and Sanchez was the featured player. The same thing this year, most of
the featured players are getting a lot more airtime than him. Arden's never been a great cast member like the other four have been, but she's at least
better than him in my eyes :P
And I talk in third person because I'm insane. @_@ |

I'm so glad they're finally using Erica. That's not the funniest thing I've ever seen her do, but its better than nothing.
There are no clips online of the I Love Lucy or The View sketch. Damn. |

THERE was nothing to laugh at this past episode. madtv is in a disgraceful state right now. k. so. johnny sanchez. is. a. mexican. ROFL!!!!!!! mexicans coming over from the border?? hey that joke hasn't been overused! the weight watchers commerical was okay, but lately they've seem to parody more and more commericals.

This ep was the best one we've had in a while, at the very least head and shoulders above the past two episodes. I agree that Sanchez's sketch was the latest in an extremely overused, and by this point completely unfunny concept. I'd actually say until this ep that Nicole Parker has been overutilized rather than underutilized, if thats possible. :P She's gone after 8 episodes, so placing too much reliance on her is gonna harm the show in general if it comes at the expense of the other female cast members. It seemed to me that they used her in pretty much every sketch with a girl up until this ep :P Not that I don't love Nicole, I just didn't want them overusing her so much that once she leaves you essentially have a female cast full of Ardens, a cast member that has been pretty much underutilized since the day she joined the show. Crista's certainly capable of being the signature female cast member (infact I prefer her to Nicole), but to have three other weak female cast members would certainly hurt. It would make no sense to me if Nicole was to join SNL. If she wants to be on a sketch comedy show why wouldn't she just stay with MadTV? If she wants to stay in sketch comedy and is getting pushed out by FOX, well then they're even bigger idiots than I thought. Nicole's been essentially the signature female cast member of the show for at least 3 years now and a show that already had two devastating departures this season can't afford to have yet another one.

Nicole has landed the role of Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway <3 <3 <3
She'll be in the rest of this season, give or take a few episodes as her appearances will probably be stretched to make it seem like she is there for the duration. I expect to see alot of Crista once she does leave. Possibly alot of Erica as well. Just as long as its not alot of Arden. Because she fucking sucks. |

And I'm happy for Nicole. I'm not surprised she landed the role. She definitely can sing. And if I"m not mistaken, she's had Broadway experience before, I think. Her singing is very theatrical. Wishful thinking, but for her last episode, I want it all to be new Nicole Parker sketches and impersonations - Britney, Ellen, Kathy Griffin, Julie Andrews, Disney Princess. Go out with a bang. |

Arden is no goddess. She can look cute at times, but she is a total butterface. She looks like a 60 year old on the red carpet, it looks like her eyes are
sliding off the sides of her face. All she does is play herself, obnoxious idiots or dumb blondes. There's a reason she has hardly ever been shown up
until this point - because she's a talentless hack and there are always females that can do any impression she can better (Nicole) or a funnier character
actress (any of the current girls, stephnie weir, nicole randall johnson). Of all the blondes they've had over the last 5 or 6 years that only lasted half
a season... Christina Moore, Kathryn Fiore, Jill Michele Melean (brunette and latina, but she was young and cute so whatever), Gillian Vigman, Arden is WORSE
than all of them and they've stuck with this vapid bitch for 4 years??? I didn't include LisaNova in that list because she was a waste of space.
