Very weak season opener overall.
SYTYCD was the best of the night. Christa's impression of Mary was dead on. But the rest was very blah. "The Hills" skits could've been better. They've done the parody before but this new one was disappointing. Coach Hines was okay. The newbie playing the gay guy has potential. Bobby Lee's Thai skit was horrendous and just dragged on. The Viva La Vida music video parody was lame. |

I laughed at The Hills skit even if I haven't seen The Hills. Nicole's little nuances are terrific!

I thought it was a pretty good episode, but I've had about enough of "Johnny Gan' and 'Whole Nother Level' guy. Lots of Crista, which is
always nice, and very, very little Johnny Sanchez (why is this guy still on the show?!?!) which may be even nicer. Never expected they'd have used Bobby
Lee for John McCain. The Jerry O'Connell music video was very good.

Johnny Sanchez isn't THAT bad. His one character, Nacho Hernandez is better than all of Bobby's put together.� It's not his fault they made him do that Rice and Beans shit with Bobby... or maybe it is.� But�I kind of like him.� Sadly, now that Dan is gone, Johnny is the best looking guy on the show.� Which is LOL x 1 billion. ��

The guy playing Nigel Lythgoe, Eric Price, is hilarious. He is a great character actor, like a male version of Mo Collins. The "scrodiddle" comment
alone made me cry with laughter. Can't wait to see more of him.

Rather an "eh" episode with me. Some good stuff, but some rather dull stuff as well. Man, I'm really missing Jordan and Michael. Sucks big
time that we've only got 5 real regular cast members at this point (sorry, I refuse to consider Johnny Sanchez as a real cast member, he sucks big time and
the producers appear to agree as he gets less screen time than the featured cast members). And one of them, Nicole, won't even be here the entire season
Favorite sketches were the E Harmony and the scenes with that hot guest star from the Hills, whatever her name was. Least favorite? A no brainer, Rice
& Beans! Why in the world are they bringing back what was probably the worst idea in the show's history? BTW, if any of you want to see some high quality eps of Mad TV, the WB's website has all of the season 12 episodes on their site. |

Last night's episode was indeed "meh". The first half hour was alright. The Katy Perry parody was the strongest sketch followed by the e-Harmony ads. Johnny's basebell conference sketch was too long. Four minutes of nothing but expletives does not equal funny. Of course, "Rice and Beans" sucked as usual. That sketch was one of the sore points that made Season 13 so awful. And I know it's only the second episode but they need to feature Erica more. I'll never understand why they sacked Dan, who showed great potential, and kept Johnny who has yet to make me laugh. And this is Nicole's second episode. Five more episodes to go, then she's bye-bye. I will really miss her.

To me, the Ozzie Guillen sketch worked because he has said some of the most ridiculous stuff ever said at press confrences, right up there with Doug Moe's
after he got canned. Liked the Patridge sketch. Curious about next weeks preview where Supernanny goes to the Lohan house.
