They spent over $1,000,000.
They completely took over the front yards of the next door neighbors with all of their machines and tools.
The neighbors got $500 per day.
The whole street was blocked off for the week, with security guards there to let residents through.
There were several motor homes and buses and a catering truck there. (The Italian food they were cooking smelled so good.)
You couldn't get closer than across the street as they had it all blocked off.
The neighbors across the street had just put in landscaping, and it was completely trampled by onlookers by the end of the week. Hopefully the show paid to fix that.
I went by there twice during the week and didn't see anyone but the gay guy. Sorry I don't remember his name. He was very nice, smiling all the time, and signing autographs.
There was a really cool wood carver who was carving bears sitting on barrels with a chain saw in the middle of the street. It was very Country Bear Jamboreeish (Disneyland ride).
The landscaping is done at the last moment, and I don't think it has held up too well.
They aren't allowed to discuss what has been done on the house, so it will be interesting to see the show.
