Good for the meat head I guess. I don't know if I should be entertained by him or feel sad for him. He's just.......yeah. Hopefully Amir can get the
upset -- he's had some great sound bytes. That limo footage in the preview looked like something out of WWE. I expected Vince McMahon to step out, look
into the camera, and say, "Don't cross the boss!!!!"

girl. Dumber than getting kicked out for punching someone in the house. Dumber than quitting for no good reason. He was in the final! Dumbass.

First off, props to Amir. This is the third fight in a row he has been losing heading into the final round and pulled out the win. The guy has a tonne of
heart. It was good to see CB lose one, maybe it will humble him a bit.
Now on to the good stuff. I called it, meathead Jesse Taylor goes on a rampage while verbally tarnishing the UFC's name at Palace Station, which is actually where I stayed last time in Vegas. I recognized that lobby quite well where he was spouting off haha. The guy is a basket case, wasted his shot at his dream because he's a clown. Not a surprise though. Sad to see, but hopefully its a life lesson that actually hits home with the guy. Its pretty obvious to everyone, including Dana that this kid in the UFC is going to be a huge headache for the organization, which he doesn't need. The wreckless partying while claiming to be a UFC fighter to anyone watching him isn't worth the risk for Dana. The kid can think long and hard about what he did. I'm sure Dana may give him another shot if he cleans his act up, but I wouldn't be surprised if we never see Jesse Taylor again. Finale Saturday night should be good. I really like Amir, the guy came into the show with no experience or real training, just a tonne of heart and he made it all the way to the final. This guy is still so green at the sport, once he gets into a good camp he could really develop into a good fighter. I think he could even cut down to 170 lbs and could turn into a contender down the road if his game continues to evolve. I'd like to see him beat CB again, but who know's. It'll be a good fight either way, the longer the fight goes the more beneficial it is for Amir, as history thus far dictates. Kendall Grove vs. Evan Tanner should be a good fight too. Both these guys really need a win to get their career's back in the right direction. For some reason Grove has looked horrible his last few fight's. It appears to be more of a mental thing with him, its like he's lost his edge. I'm going to go with Evan Tanner in this fight, I think he'll find a way to beat Kendall. Diego Sanchez should win his fight. Any card thats free is a bonus. Also, keep an eye out in July, Anderson Silva is supposed to be jumping up to 205lbs to fight James Irvin free on Spike sometime in July. |

Jesse is definitely the biggest fuck up this show's ever seen. He was right there in the finals! I'd like to see footage of his other antics in the
casino. It must have been real bad if casino security had to reign him in. It sounds like the door is still open to him down the line. Hopefully this is his
wake-up call and he cuts down or cuts the booze out of his life.
The Amir-CB fight was really good. I can't complain about see a re-match. CB needs to improve his conditioning because his gas tank looked like shit against Amir and Tim. Looking forward to seeing former winners Diego Sanchez and Kendall Grove get back into action Saturday. Grove has looked like shit his last two fights. If he loses, who knows if they'll keep him around. |

I actually think the "I'm a UFC fighter" part did him in more than anything else. Be a jackass all you want, but when you start throwing an
organization's name into the mix, they'll drop you quick sharp. It's PR 101.

Meathead is the perfect name for JT, he really screwed up big time. I was hoping Tim would pull out the win against CB, he gassed in the 2nd round but he was on E as well and couldn't take advantage of the situation. If Amir does nothing but learn jiu-jitsu before the CB rematch he will be in good shape. CB tends to just lay on top of his opponent with his arms sticking out. I can't believe that neither Amir or Tim couldn't have gotten him in a arm bar or triangle early and often, Amir finally got him but the opportunity was there all along. |

You know, I'm actually really excited for Amir/CB II, even though we just saw them fight on Wednesday. Dunno, maybe it's just me, but it's going to
be interesting to see how they both come out with a full training camp. I think even if CB wins tomorrow night, they'll pull the same deal with
Griffin/Bonnar and Herman/Grove and award Amir a 6-figure contract as well.

I'm actually kind of pissed off with what they did to Amir, the final should not be a rematch, even if CB wins he loses because he tied Amir. CB is going
to try Dante the match and score points rather then throw down, its going to be a boring bad fight. They should have had two fights Creduer vs Nick Klein and
Riddle vs Kramer those where the four best guys who didn't already fight Amir. And in that situation I think Riddle wins out and we get the real finale
Amir vs Riddle, that would have been a classic. And don't forget people Amir drew Byrne in the first round who was 6-1 and one of the favorites going in
so he has actually never won a first round.

CB was such a bitch. He tapped and then whined. Dude, you lost! Props to Amir for finishing him a 2nd time.

I have no idea what his future will hold in the ufc, but goddamn it, Amir winning it all is the best case scenario of this season.

Given Jesse Taylor's fuck up, Amir was the one guy who survived the process and won all of his fights. He definitely deserved the TUF 7 title. Beating CB
twice was even sweeter since I think Dana will offer CB a contract (though not as nice) too. Do I think Anderson Silva is scared of Amir? Absolutely not. But
if you want to create contenders to the belt, why not Amir? He's defintely smart and tough enough. Who knows where he'll be in 2 years.
After tonight, I think Diego Sanchez should drop down to 155 lbs. He couldn't take Luigi Fioravanti down. He lost a couple of fights because he couldn't take Jon Fitch or Josh Koscheck down. How is he going to contend for the belt GSP holds if he can't handle the bigger wrestlers ahead of him? I'dlove to see him pressure BJ Penn. |

As I said above, CB was prone to being submitted and this time Amir got him early in the first round. I loved it when CB was acting like he didn't tap,
re-play owned him though.

Nice work Amir. The question of the night tho has to be who was drunker....Evan Tanner or the judge that actually gave him a round in that fight?
I couldn't actually believe what I was watching. Tanner was gassed after about one minute and could barely stand after two. It reminded me of the old guy at the bar that gets into a fight that he doesn't really want anything to do with, therefor he's forced to hang-on for dear life. Made no sense, Tanner looked drunk or something. He could barely stand, was falling over, had no balance, had multiple chances to attack Grove and punish him, but couldn't even get near him to land a punch cuz he was falling all over himself, he was just too slow and incapable of pretty much any attack. Was the worst performance I'd ever seen watching a fight, he was just there for the paycheck it looked like. I seriously think Tanner was drunk or drugged up, he did not look ok at all, was very strange. Minotaura vs. Mir might be a boring season, hopefully we get some good characters. Lightweight's and light heavyweight's both next season, looks like they're back to 8 fighters from two weight-classes on the show for next season. We haven't had heavyweights since season 3, figured for sure we'd finally get it next season with the heavyweight coaches, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Fuck, thats the one division they need to find talent in, the heavyweight pool must be pretty dry if they cant round up 8 guy's in 5 season's to fight on the show. |

Anyone check out that first person trailer for next season? Didn't notice during the broadcast, so my apologizes if it's old, looks like one of their best promos they've ever made. http://www.spike.com/video/ultimate/2995003? |

I don't know why, but the comment about Amir being just like Forrest (humble, quiet, self-deprecating) and yet funnier and having more personality was just so.... funny. |

Looks like CoCo the Monkey may be back sooner than we thought. He's rumored to be fighting on the Fight Night card on the 19th against... CB Dollaway.
