Prediction time for the fight's tonight. I'm going with Mir over Lesnar, Brock is a powerhouse but Mir has more ways to win and I think his big-fight experience will be the difference and he'll submit Lesnar at some point. I think the excperience will make Lesnar a better fighter and he will improve and be a force in the heavyweight division for a long time, but he isn't ready quite yet to beat a top notch heavyweight like Mir.

Sylvia vs. Minotauro to me is a toss-up. I could see it going either way. Minotaura looked awful his last fight and not like the former Pride Champ that beat all the top guys in the sport. I'd like to see Minotauro win just to see if Couture would come back to face a different challenger before a later year fight with Fedor (hopefully). I think Sylvia will land some huge punches and Minotauro will take a beating as per his history, but can he pulloff the submission after Sylvia has beaten the tar out of him for 5 rounds? I'm not sure, I think picking Sylvia is a "safer" choice, but I like to pick an upset every card so I'll go with Minotauro in what I think is a very even fight that will go a few rounds if not the distance.

I think Marquart will beat Horn via a Unanimous decision, I just think Horn took the fight on too late of notice and he won't be able to beat Marquart, should be another long fight going to the judges card in Nate's favour. Other fights that are worth mentioning are Tyson Griffin vs. Gleison Tibau. I think Griffin will keep his winning streak going and get the victory here. Other one that definitely won't go the distance and should have been on the main card is Terry Martin vs. Marvin "Beastman" Eastman at 185lbs. Someone is getting knocked out, flip the coin, I'll go with Martin but could see Eastman knocking him out just as easy. Should be some decent fights, I noticed they bumped up the ppv to $45 bucks now here in Canada anyways. Dana is making too much money, getting alot of support and starting to charge us for it the bastard. Hopefully it doesn't continue to get ridiculous or it could backfire like Boxing. Should be some good fights tonight, looking forward to the next two PPV's after this even more.

I was wondering about Trigg too. Also, what happeneded to both Nick Diaz and Andre Arlovsi? Neither of those two guys have fought in a long time, especially Diaz. You nailed the comments about the 185lb division, Silva is in a league of his own, I agree he'd beat Rampage as well. To answer your one question Henderson is a true 185lb'er., he actually was 183lb. champ at Pride's weightclass system, he just happened to beat Wanderlei Silva and take his light-heavyweight belt in PRIDE as well. Pound for pound I sya Silva is the best in the world, followed by George St. Pierre who own's everyone at 170lbs. and the only person that beats him is himself. Thirdly I'd say BJ Penn at 155lbs would be the next best pound-for-pound in the world, thats an interesting discussion altogether though.

Lesnar needs to train with a real camp and work on the other MMA fundamentals a bit more to fine-tune his game and he'll be pretty outstanding in a year or so. Either way he's exciting as hell to watch and goes 100mph the entire time. Mir should get a title shit, but I just heard an interview with Randy Couture on Friday and he made it sound like he would come back if Minotaura beat Sylvia, but not if Sylvia won again, then hopefully he said he gets to fight Fedor in December. Something to keep tabs on anyways. Does anyone know when the Rampage vs. Forrest season of TUF starts?

Holy man where did everyone disappear to? Lets get this forum going everyone, the UFC is the premier fighting spectacle in the world with tonnes to debate and discuss. UFC 84 in May announced this week, phenomenal fight card with BJ Penn fighting Sean Sherk, Wanderlei Silva vs. Keith Jardine and Tito Ortiz vs. Machida. Makes me think the June PPV is gonna be Forrest vs. Rampage. Chuck must be fighting soon as well as he's been off since December. Cro Cop, Brandon Vera & Shogun should be looking to get on some fight cards soon as well after extended layoffs.

Prediction time tonight, see if I can go 3for3 on the predictions. Gotta go with Anderson Silva who I think is the best lb. per lb. fighter in the world. I'm thinking Henderson will be his best challenge tho thus far in the UFC by a long shot. Henderson has the ability to get Silva to the ground with his wrestling, which no one has yet tried to do. Henderson also has that one punch knockout power. Silva better hope to get this done quick because he's never gone longer than 3 rounds and Henderson seems to really thrive as the fight goes on. Will be an awesome fight but until someone gives me a reason to think otherwise, Silva is just too good to lose. He's beyond devastating with his striking, his BJJ is unreal and he's on top of his game right now, only way Henderson realistically wins is if he hangs in there during the early rounds, uses his wrestling to win on the scoring card and pushes this thing the distance. I'm going with Silva though in a great fight.

Other fights, Kongo vs. Herring. Kongo should win this and then hopefully fight Sylvia after Sylvia called him out a few months back. Herring switched training camps and looks to be in the best shape of his life but Kongo should win this one via tko or scorecard in what I think will be a duller fight than expected. Yushin Okami vs. Evan Tanner will be a let down fight as well as I think Okami will win via unanimous decision and we'll see that age has caught up with Tanner. Leben vs. Sakara who really cares, could see it going either way, most likely gonna be a knockout for either guy, I'll go with Sakara though via knockout but could just as easily be Leben. Jon Fitch should easily beat this Wilson guy, not sure why Fitch is even having to fight this dude after coming off a huge win over Diego, but he should get it done early. Should be a good night of fight's.
