Good call. After all, Sloane did tell Jack to keep an eye on him. Jack wanted to see what Sloane's made of. Very clever of Jack.

Wow, I didn't think of that. I wonder what they're foreshadowing with that! Maybe sometime down the road there's going to be a big Rimbaldi showdown between Jack, Syd, Dixon, Sloane, Irina, and Sark? Oh, the possibilities!

I sort of disliked the idea of Sark being Syd's kin, because it sounded so soap-opera like. But, it could be interesting if he's Irina's son. Who's the daddy--Sloane? Khasinou? I hope it's not Jack. He and Syd are finally starting to forge a real father/daughter relationship, and I don't Sark thrown in there to divide loyalties. Although, it would be funny to rip-off Return of the Jedi:
Jack or Sloane: "Sark....I am your father..."

If Khasinou is the father, I don't think Sark will take too kindly to Irinia shooting and killing him. Maybe Sark will turn against Irina, enlist in Syd's help, and the two of them could bring Irina down.

According to the preview for next week it looks like there is going to be some tension between Jack and Syd. They are playing it like Jack might try to get rid of her which I just don't understand since they seemed to be forming a good relationship.

Jack almost blowing up Sydney? God this show is good. The twists keep coming.

Please, I PRAY they dont go into some repressed sexual abuse thing next week.....

Nah, I bet he used some sort of memory repression on her to make her forget details about her mother-even the good memories (presuming there were good memories). But this show is genius about making you wonder. On a side note, there hasn't been word one about Joey Slotnik's character that Jack supposedly killed in the finale last season. I want validation. I don't want to tune in one week and see this weasel back.

The acting was tremendous-this is one screwed up family! Plus, I had a feeling the girl at Will's group therapy was a spy.

Basically what happened is this...

Everywhere little Sydney went...Sark was sure to follow.

I was half expecting him to pop up at Francie's restaurant or Will's support group.

Or inside mom's cell.

Just when Will's storyline was getting interesting again, the girl turns out to be Sloaney's plant. Sorta saw it coming, but I wanted to believe it was something promising.

Vaughn and Syd--could there be more sexual tension? When Vaughn said "I am your ally", he might as well have said "I love you".

I love Jack, but he really screwed this one up. Irina's going to catch on very fast as to who framed her. Speaking of Irina, she's got Syd totally pegged. The woman doesn't even have to talk and she somehow speaks volumes.

I always thought Emily was still alive, but did Sloane know all along she was alive, or did he help her fake her death and is hiding her from the Alliance? It would be cool if Emily is playing with his head, and that she's going to come after him!

Sark--I think he's somehow communicating with Irina. That guy is smooth, but Syd always comes out ahead.

About the weasel whom Jack killed, I think the reason nobody's mentioning him is because he was under the other CIA boss (forgot his name, the older guy) not Kendall. Kendall seems to have taken over this SD-6 thing and the other boss is out of the picture.

One hint dropped before the show started this season was that a terrible secret about Jack would send him to the bottle. The next ep looks to be where this storyline begins.

The look on Irina's face when they came to get her spoke volumes. Jack is playing for keeps and he got her good. Jack's desperation and tactics are quickly becoming the focus of this season. He almost blows his daughter up. He is probably the one screwing with Sloane. He has Sydney totally destroyed concerning Irina. Now his past is about to blow up in his face. This is getting GOOD. Great storyline: A father who would go to the end of the world just to protect his daughter, but really doesn't know how to be a father and is fully capable of causing more damage than good.

Sark. All kinds of possibilities here. As the mythical baddie that just can't be killed he has all kinds of time for wreaking havoc and maybe even being rehabbed down the road.

Man would I love to be writer on this show. They are really having fun. So much damn intrigue, all of it being craftily setup for all kinds of intriguing payoffs down the road. How ingenious to have a dysfunctional family within whose warped dynamics lies the fate of mankind.

About the earrings, I automatically thought they'd be some sort of transistor that Irina would use to communicate with the Sarkster. But then Syd told her they'd been checked for all that. It was probably just another of Irina's tactics to get Syd on her side, telling her the touching story of how her mother gave the earrings to her as a graduation gift.

Good, I wasn't the only one who was disappointed. I'm sure there's still more stored for Will this season.

They both had tears in their eyes and they could barely hold themselves back. It was heartbreaking.

I love the Emily twist. We can only hope she's trying to scare the hell out of Sloane. That would be perfect.

I still think Irina has something devious up her sleeves. She now has earrings which may or may not play a part in it all. Does anybody remember if she handed the pencil back to Syd several episodes ago? When I watched it, I only remember her handing back the sheet of paper.

Okay, for those of you who absolutely don't like spoilers, don't read ahead. For those of you that do, here are a few for upcoming episodes:

*Khasinau is not gone for good. (Does no one in this show actually die?)
*Vaughn is horrified to realize what Jack is capable of when it comes to Irina.
*Sloane tells Jack the truth about Emily's death.
*Jack makes the ultimate sacrifice to win back Syd.
*Vaughn learns an awful truth about the contents of Khasinau's red ball.
*Sloane digs up a shocker about Emily's burial site.
*Will scores a top-secret assignment.
*Sydney must make a deal with Sark that could endanger Sloane's life.
*The whole SpyFamily Syd, Jack and Irina sets off on a mission together.

Can't wait!
