I never had any interest in this show, but when I was in the nursing home they had shitty cable, and this was on a lot and I actually liked it. I had never
seen any Sharona episodes until recently when they were on in the afternoon. She kind of bugs me sometimes.

Haha, wow!!? Why all of the Nattie-bashing!!!?! She's a cutie!
And, I like all of the qualities that she brings to the table, which Monk seems to lack, or at least suppress...she's fun!! |

weekend.. my daughter said all she wants for her bday is a monk bobblehead.. heh! I just got turned on to this show last fall, but i really love it!

Most recent, (last Friday...) was Mr. Monk Paints His Masterpiece... The were both great and in true-Monk form!! That's funny about your daughter...Actually, one of those super bowl commercials from yesterday reminded me of the Monk bobble heads!!?! |

thanks scareseasily... yes! I did see those epis... I have my dvr set to record all episodes. Even though most of them are multiple repeats that i've
finally seen, there is a new (to me) one every so often.. I believe i've now seen all but 3 or 4 episodes total. LOVED the painting one!! and i really
should get ordering that bobblehead.. her bday is the 28th..lol!! I like randy more too.. although, there's something about him that makes me think he just
tries too hard..lol.

there was one on last night that i hadn't previously seen...
there was one line in it that has me cracking the hell up!!! every time i think about it... it was some fire-fighter got murdered and monk was temp blind... at one point, he tells his therepist that he's "operating AT or Just Below Mr Magoo standards"
my daughter couldn't understand what was so funny about that.. omg.. i'm still when i think of it!!!
(oh, bobblehead ordered..pfft$25.00... but she's gonna be so excited!!) |

I have watched this show since the beginning and I really hate that they are without Sharona but last night the episode was good for me. :) I want to ffind out
why Trudy was killed and they never expand on the mystery!

I'm glad they are addressing Trudy's murder again too. Hopefully next week's show will bring closure to this storyline. I wonder if Leland know
that Monk's still alive. You know there is no way that he is dead.

before this thread slips off the end, let's bring this to the front again...
i saw an ep of monk today in fact. it was a "classic" monk ep because sharona was there. i didn't see the beginning but it was something about a tv/movie star that was the suspect. killed somebody. nobody believed monk. monk was proven right at the end. all very monk. but the funny part was... monk was on the set during filming, sitting in a chair next to the director. when the director yelled "cut" the "continuity" person noted that an actor had used the wrong finger to test cocain during the scene and the cut would be wrong from previous takes. director: "ok fix it." then monk, being monk, stood up and pointed out that... the lighting on the van was different, the guy holding the umbrella was holding it wrong, the girl's sweatshirt should be zipped up all of the way, the homeless guy's socks were wrong, "and i don't know what you are going to do about the bird", etc. etc. etc... that scene was fucking hilarious. the single greastest monk scene i have ever seen. i laughed my ass off. anyway. that was funny. and the monk thread should stay with us... |

Doesn't this come back on this/next week or something? Can't believe that this might be the last season...I'd be super-bummed!!! Stanley Kamel will be a loss, for sure. But Elizondo is great about filling roles (Beverly Hills Cop 3!!!). And an awesome actor in his own right.... |
