Oh yeah THIS is a crappy show. All the way from conceit to execution.
Yeah... |

Watched it and thought it was decent. It was really bizarre seeing the characters in their flashbacks living civilian lives out of context with their BSG
lives. I still don't really get their point, though. Like, what was the deal with Gaius' flashback? If the flashback had showed him doing something
selfless, like Lee had asked him about, then it would have made more sense to me. Also, I don't remember Tyrol getting locked up? I was surprised when Helo
was talking to him through the cage, because I don't remember that happening at all. Bring on the finale!

This is getting sad. I'm hoping the finale will pull it out of this tailspin, but I fear it will be shockingly bad.

there's gonna be tons of big explosions next week, and it will be stupid as fuck.

I'm really not expecting much next week. Shame. The first few episodes of this last stretch were really good.
I think Vic's got the endgame nailed. There's been enough talk of repeating the past, that a trip down the time tunnel seems inevitable... |

I've lowered my expectations considerably for the finale. These past few episodes, on their own, haven't been that bad (this series has had worse
ones), but leading up to the finale? Ugh.

That didn't bug me either. It was perfectly natural to assume Chief would be sent to the brig for his behavior -- there's far more critical stuff that
they did without showing us why, leaving us to infer what happened.
Meanwhile, say goodbye to The SciFi Channel.

So this last episode implies to me that they're not going to be wrapping up the storylines in this series. Seemed to be a set up for movies or the Caprica
spin-off. We may not know the ultimate fate of our Galacitans at the end of the finale. Which is at least more palatable than them finding "The Real
Earth".

Yeah, I'm quite sure that you'll need to watch CAPRICA to get answers to several of the more enduring questions. Maybe my cable carrier will have the Sci-Fi channel in HD by then. |

This "The Last Frakkin' Special" is a must see.
There's Ron Moore, chief vision guy, explaining how he wasn't happy with ending last season with the Baltar trial. Not enough oomph. So he decides to reveal four of the five skinjobs. But had absolutely no idea who they were and went about selecting them by pulling it out of his ass. Contrary to the belief that the BSG guys had a gameplan etched out in advacne all along, the guy 'fessed up to having been making it up as he went along. Unbelievable. |

"33" was awesome, everything else has been crap.
Now they are ending the show by setting up the next show "craprica" is that the name? too ban, because they had potential, just never realized the potential.... |

Very believable. The introduction of the final five Cylons didn't feel retconnish, but the reveal of Ellen as the wise mother fifth Cylon, her
explanation and the revelation that the 5 are different from the other skinjobs, and tthat here was another skinjob model (Daniel) who was done away with, felt
retconnish. They couldn't even explain why Tory (who might be more inconsistent than Tyrol, but she's a fourth/fifth tier character, at best) was
selected to be a Cylon (I've heard better suggestions on messageboards, the best being that she was the president's senior adviser).
