I was never comfortable with the idea that a mutiny could metastazise into a rebellion so quickly, given what these people have been through under Adama -- that'd be like mutinying against Lord Nelson after Trafalgar. Sailors just don't do that. Agreeance with the sentiment above that the lieutenant who said he simply hated Cylons was the realest moment of the eppie. They should've showed us such discontent among the crew prior to the mutiny starting. Plus I still hate that it was Gaeta, the formerly uber-loyal Gaeta who led it. That is indeed fanfic territory, espeicially given Zarek's recent redemption edit.Zarek was always a murderous asshole. He was the guy who instituted the "Circle" that went around airlocking Cylon collaborators. It totally makes sense that Gaeta would lead the rebellion. He's very much an idealist who believes in the law. That's why he called out Roslin's election fraud and went to work for Baltar on NC. He is also soft-hearted or weak-willed, depending on your POV. That led to him turning on Baltar. Ultimately, it also led to the failure of the mutiny and his death, as he wasn't the decisive leader that Adama was. Great episode. My theory is that the crack is another sign from the gods or God, like the one Tyrol saw on the algae planet. |

I just watched two of the last three episodes. I didn't think the bald-sex episode was that boring, but the mutiny episode definitely ratcheted things up a
notch. Looking forward to the conclusion! And I'm still waiting for the final 4 to do something......anything....

Wasn't the killing of the quorum a mirror to the Cylon execution of their leaders? 2 "soldiers" walk in, open fire, then leave. I like that
idea of both washing away the old in favor of something new. I think the Cylons are going to start to look to the President as their leader as well now.
But in this whole thing, where was D'Anna? I hate that the character comes and goes. She has a major personality in the Cylon ranks and should be there on the bridge. |

It was seriously SO vague and such a "wait, what just happened?" scene though. Really bad way to write her out if that WAS what happened. |

If Ellen resurrected right after being killed, at least some if not all of the Cylons would know she was alive and a Cylon. That happened a long time ago.

Did D'Anna know about hte final 5 at that point? If so she could have made it that she was the only one who was there when she was resurrected, and then
protected her.
Or she could have possible been resurrected at the older Basestar that had the original hy-brid. Isn't that supposed to be around? |
