I read that Cady's leaving for a short while because a real life fam member or friend is dieing and she wants to spend as much time with them as possible before the pass away.

Didn't she conceive the kid in March?? It's July!! The same thing with Gwen;wasn't she at the prom last month?? Now she's also had a baby boy? Wouldn't both women be experiencing miscarriages?? It's writing like that that tick people off and tempt them to not watch anymore.It's like the writers think that we're idiots. I've skipped some episodes-was that Julia mess ever resolved?

I've never liked SORASing(soap opera rapid aging syndrome) in the first place,but I've never seen the writers do that to a fetus.I can't get around the thought that these babies are 5 months premature.I know that soaps are not a reflection of reality(I used to watch 'Passions',where one day would take up a month worth of episodes)but the babies are 5 months(at least jennifer's is) premature!! Absolutely ridiculous.

So technically, she's only about 3 months early - not that that makes it any less rediculous. That being said - I'm ok with pushing along the preg's. And on soaps, where one day can last about a week....time has no real meaning. At least they are addressing that the babies as premature.

Hunt Block's last airdate is Aug.11 and I'm sure gonna miss him. Cady's last airdate is tomorrow and they are leaving the door open for her to return.

Posts: 187 (07/29/05 12:31 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I can say that the preemie aspect is decent -- I was due in October with my first child (October 20) and she was born July 5 and not only survived but is amazing. On the other hand... there is no way in the world that there would be an opportunity for Craig to switch the babies. In the NICU we were in (as was common practice in most I have heard about) there was a lot more than a name tag on the isolette. I'll never forget the day that I got to roll her over and saw that she had a piece of clear medical tape on her back with a number on it -- and found out that it was for ID purposes in the event of an emergency and babies were moved around quickly. Could Craig have changed that tape without alarms going off? NO WAY. A baby born that premature would be under the most limited amount of handling as any extra movement would make their stats go crazy... BUT we get to suspend reality (what's new?) for storyline sake. That's ok I guess - but I had to laugh when the poster above mentioned SORAS'ing the unborn child! Too funny for words!! (wasn't it Lily that was actually pregnant for 10 months with Hope?)

I hope Simon comes back again and Mike is left alone. He lost his feelings for Jennifer pretty quickly. I do have to say I like Jennifer with Dusty(even though I really don't like this tough guy Dusty-what happened to the cute Dusty?)

He was a genius. I have been watching this show for 20 years and finally it seems to be getting back on track from the lackluster past few years. But where is Lucinda and her cancer??????????? Did Luke come out of the closet yet? I can't believe I forgot to tape the episode yesterday where Jen got her baby back. I can't wait to see Barbara's reaction when she finds out about Paul and Emily. She will destroy Emily!

BJ sucks - not just the character but the guy playing it. i do like henry tho. he's an oddball and brings a tad of humor to the show. he reminds me of some sort of 1940s door to door salesman. i hope lily tells what's his name to take a hike. i hate that guy!

Kin Shriner is very talented and they need to spread that talent around. I can't wait to see Babs reaction to Will pushing open the door. Good for him for standing up to his mother. I read in SOD that Cady McClain is returning to AMC. She and Craig were great together.The writers adn producers of ATWT blew that one.
