I may be in the minority,but I don't think that Roger Howarth's performance as 'Paul' warranted an Emmy nomination.I thought that he was great on 'OLTL',but I found nothing spectacular with his storyline this year.
And he's up for 'Lead Actor'!! I don't get it. |

Jennifer sure deserves it more than that joke Natalia Livingston. A lot of good performers were shut out.
So who killed Julia? I know Lily thinks she did but most likely someone probably came into the room after and finished off the job. Am I right? |

I almost wish that the Emmys would go back to the 'anything goes' format,meaning that a soap could name any or all of it's actors for an Emmy nomination.That had alot of problems,but requiring 2 actors for each nomination obviously isn't working either.
About Julia,remember that her window was left open and anyone could've come in and finish her off. |

Especially because the shows themselves vote on who gets nominate for their show. I think the complaint was that in the past, people like Martha Byrne would always get snubbed since Lily's role wasn't the prototypical type they look for when nominations come out....

It's far from being a shut out though. Just looking at some of the heavy hitters in daytime and their Emmy history:
Erika Slezak (Vickie, One Life to Live) has been on since 1971, 7 nominations (5 wins) Kim Zimmer (Reva, Guiding Light and others) has been on since 1977, 8 nominations (3 wins) Elizabeth Hubbard (Lucinda, ATWT and others) has been on since 1962, 9 nominations (1 win) Marcy Walker (Liza, All My Children and others) in daytime since 1981, 6 nominations (1 win) So, we have a 7 out of 34, an 8 out of 28, a 9 out of 42 and a 6 out of 24. So, 8 out of 20, not too shabby. I know - I tend to beat a dead horse. A dead horse that I'm sure no one but me cares about, but I can't help it! I need to get out more.... |

I love Henry
 He's on some misguided attempt to make Katie happy and Craig is pulling all of the strings for his own convencience. It turns out that Jennifer isn't such an ice princess after all she-spoiler ahead-------- - - - - - - - she sleeps with Craig this week. |
