It was hilarious that not even Dwight was suicidal enough to take Michael up on his offer, even when the offer was accidentally made to cover up that Michael did not want to ask him. Also loved Oscar's reaction and actually talking sense about the uphill climb Michael was facing. Productivity Czar... I think I am going to enjoy seeing how the new VP oversees the regime change. He's so deadly serious about the job that it's going to be funny seeing how he deals with this bunch of crazies without firing the whole lot of them. Michael allowed everyone to get away with murder. That's not going to be the case any more...

When Michael announces his plan to start his own company to Pam, and she questions his sincerity, Michael states that most of DM-Scranton's clients used to be his clients... Towards the end of the episode Charles announces to the office something to the effect of, "Has anybody seen the client list that Michael was supposed to be working on?" I think that these lines are more than just passing comments...

You could be right, but I didn't want you to think it wasn't addressed. :)

However goofy Michael's personality may be, it has been stressed time after time that he is one heckuva salesman. The "Amazing Race" episode where he made the sale in spite of Andy. Wallace's comments about how the Scranton branch always comes out on top. The fact that he won Salesman of the Year two years in a row. And that he stole the Prince Family paper clients. All of these show that he DOES know how to sell! So I don't think it's out of line to think that he may have taken the client list with him. I know the previews show him pouting and Pam trying to cheer him up, but that won't last forever. In fact, I could see a scenario where he took the list, takes the clients, Wallace finds out, and then fires Charles for being stupid enough to allow a disgruntled employee to have access to their client list in the first place. Perfect opportunity for Michael to return next season. So long as he brings the client list with him, of course. That's certainly no more far-fetched than some of the episodes we've witnessed.

They made several points of him being great with clients. I think the people put in charge of those aspects of the office will come back to bite him. He picked exactly the wrong people for those jobs.

The fact that he's so opposite of the personalities of the Scranton branch only underscores that point. I can see him going down in glorious flames.

Hopefully the plot will get moving to a good pace and in the meantime, maybe they can focus less on Jim and more on the rest of the office. The Dwight/Andy thing was pretty good, and much more entertaining than Jim's rundown thing. Focus more on the side characters while the Michael Scott Paper Company develops. Both episodes were kinda slow, but the second one had its moments. I just hope they get this plot stuff out of the way quickly.

My favorite part of the MSPC scenes was when Michael had to listen to Toby talking up stairs in the bathroom. I also did like the ending with the first sale by Pam and them celebrating. The worst part of the episode was the rundown shit. It was pretty damn boring.

The number one reason we know Michael is an awesome salesman is the Tim Meadows/Chili's episode. Along with Diversity Day and Health Care Plan, best epi evah. Some great gems from there. - I've been reading Small Business Man magazine. You know where all deals are done? Golf course? Board room? Nope. Chilis. - This is Jan Levinson Gould. 'Um Michael, it's just Levinson'. Michael to camera: 'Just Levinson, no Gould' - Hey Megan, can we get an Awesome Blossom, extra awesome. - I want my baby back, baby back.....

And I'm sure I'm in the minority, but the Pam/Michael/Ryan trio is GREAT for me. I've always found Ryan unfunny, boring, and annoying. Tonight? Loved him massively. But yeah, Dwight/Andy are brilliance. And the blood rushing to the penis comment had me laughing so hard...god, two great episodes for me. Ryan stealing shoes? Wtf? Ryan wanting to know if Michael had TNT? Double wtf. Hehe But yeah, Jim + the rundown was ridiculous.
