I loved the episode tonight, easily the best of the season so far for me.

Good episode. Kind of a weird feel to it, with the Michael/Jan/Astird (lol) story line. The Jim & Pam storyline seemed like filler mostly. So
uncomfortable watching Dwight try to destroy the stroller with the watermelon in it, but funny!

Holy fuck, between Dwight giving birth in the opening and trying to destroy the stroller with his car...I don't even know what to say

Michael couldnt connect with Astird but he can connect with Holly. And Jim and Pam weren't connecting at all throughout the whole episode and then at the end they finally did, over voicemail. Creed's line about Omaha Beach was definitely the "I shouldnt be laughing at that" line of the night. |

Good but not a fave. Jan was amazing as always but Dwight was a bit much. The stroller being dragged behind the car was hilarious though. I liked that JP had
some tension this week with the missed connections but sort of finally connecting again.
The baby pictures were adorable. I'm betting they were their real pics too. That kid looked soooo much like ed Helms. |

I thought it was great. Loved Michael/Holly and Jim/Pam scenes. Those worked very nicely. I also enjoyed Dwight's adventure with the stroller though I was
not the biggest fan of the cold open with the birthing of the watermelon. Angela dressing up the baby in the veggies was funny.

Jan belting out "Son of a Preacher Man"...the afterbirth/Omaha Beach stuff...Jan passed out on the couch and then being a bitch to Holly...
Loved all of that Thought it was a good show, but I much prefer the over the top/kooky episodes to begin with. |

ok, i'm really, truly, officially done with Dwight. If he got killed in a beet farming accident it would suit me fine. Especially if it meant more
screentime for the underused Andy. Angela's Anne Geddes scene and his one liner about a baby being a bounty of joy (or whatever) was the ultimate - just
perfect. Altho Jan belting out Son of A Preacher Man for Astrid's lullaby was pretty damn funny too. (As was Michael's description of her being in the
terminal months of pregnancy.) The Jim/Pam stuff was nauseating so the less said about that, the better. OTOH the awkward uneasiness during the Jan and Holly
scene is what this show does best. Poor Holly... I was a big Toby fan and was upset to see him go, but the Holly character is working out really well.

I thought it was the best episode in quite a while. Some of the one liners were priceless.

I'm a fan of the Phyllis/Angela rivaly, so I was happy with that bit.

Why is Amy Ryan still listed as "Special Guest Star?"
Is she going somewhere soon? And all it took to push Michael over the edge into Holly-dating was Jan saying "Don't date Holly." And he ran right in and asked her out. Perfect! Phyllis trying to have a confessional and saying "I'm out from under Angela's heel" and Michael rapping on the window and telling her to stop talking and get busy! |

I loved the Anne Geddes stuff. So creepy and prefect. Michael berating Phyllis for not working hard enough was amazing as well.

I liked Darryl trying to explain to him the difference between random babies and your own. Love Holly, and the Holly and Michael hug at the end was sweet.
Creed's comment about the afterbirth was hilarious! |

^ The Michael and Holly hug.... she had %%#+# in her eyes! Awww... I love the character, and Amy Ryan has great facial expressions. She's such a good
addition to the show and I hope she's around for awhile.

So first off, I LOVED the Ryan/JoAnna from S6 of Survivor bit. That was so random and all my friends were like "you totally know who hes talking about,
right?" Natch, I did. Joanna...so random. Especially seeing as she was from like literally 8 years ago.
So glad to see Jan Levinson-Gould last night, shes my favo character. I still miss her working at Dunder-Mifflin though, I want them to hire her back. Anyhow, not one of the funniest episodes last night, but Michael finally realizing that Jan just doesn't like him was sad/cute when he went to Holly. I doubt thats the end of Jan though, especially cause I doubt the chick who plays Holly is gonna be around long. |

Astird
Holly <3 Great ep, but I would agree with Dwight being a little over the top this time. I'm still a Dwight fan though |

I really liked the ending, with Pam/Jim's phone message conversation. Very clever writing. And romantic without being cloying. It summed up their
relationship nicely.
Angela is always gold. |
