Healthy debate is most assuredly a major part of Sucks. And no one expects that everyone will like the same thing and hate the same thing. That would be tedious and boring. Many people come into this thread to say what they didn't like, but they don't demean others who don't agree with them. Pizza Harold seems to have a martyr complex going on, but he's the one who keeps belittling those who don't agree with him.

You belittle them and that's why you are singled out over the others who criticize the show.

1. Say they're "ok"with some particular plot development as if the writers and producers really care. They aren't saying this to please the writers and producers. It's their actual opinion which they are free to voice on a message board.
2. Talk about the characters using the name of the actor who plays the character. Usually people do this because they have dreams of being a Hollywood insider (or want us to think they are), when in actuality that just pulled up IMDB like everyone else. Why the fuck would this bother you? Do you really have so much time on your hands to think about this?
3. Talk about how well-acted some particular scene is. This is a television comedy, not an Oscar nominee. This is ridiculous. No one is saying Phyllis is Meryl Streep, but if she did a good job in the scene, what's the problem with saying so? This is a smug and arrogant comment, and again, it's why you're singled out over others. There are Emmy Awards for actors in Comedies, or are you saying they should do away with them because only movie actors are talented?
4. Act like you don't read my posts because they're sooooo boring, when obviously you do because you're still bitching about why I watch the show when I hate it. I have stopped reading you, but so many where quoting your post, I figured I'd see what was up. Sometimes I do agree with your criticisms, but your self-righteousness obscures your arguments.
5. Think it's hilarious that Dwight though the Ben Franklin reinactor might be the real Ben Franklins!!!! Or think the ferris wheel was a hilarious touch. Or loved the episode when Michael tried to fake a suicide by jumping off the building onto a bounce house. Or thought the "Prison Mike" episode was "brilliant" because Steve did a great acting job!!!! Who are you to tell people what is funny? That's what is so great about comedy. There are so many nuances and styles. Some people like dry British humor, some like slapstick. Some like a pie in the face, some like a subtle comment. If some liked the Ben Franklin bit (which I didn't by the way) who the hell are you to judge them?

People ask you why you watch the show because your posts are more than criticisms at times. They read like you're downright angry. Now, maybe you aren't, words can come across differently than what you mean, but that is how it seems.

So, pizza, I don't hate you and I'm not doing this to be mean, but it keeps coming up and since it's the end of the season maybe it's a way to start fresh. Maybe if you start editing your posts to be more tolerant of other's opinions instead of being the end-all be-all of comedy, others will actually start reading your posts and taking your good points into consideration
