Still the best show on tv. I found myself grinning like an idiot watching scenes with Mr. & Mrs. Coach. Lots of potential for good story lines this year without that stupid murder thing from last year. Love me some strong Tyra! |

I already wanna punch freshman qb's dad in the face.
Not liking what they're doing with Matt though. In the past he's always been shown to be a servicable qb. Not great, but good enough to win games for you. Now, when the storyline calls for it, he's a huge fuck up who can't even take a snap correctly? Not buying it. |

strong tyra = hot.
inept matt = a bit of dramatic license. hell, brett farve muffs a snap every now and then. its going to be fun watching mrs. coach as mrs. principal this year (she's got the balls for the job.) does that make her the boss of coach? i mean over and above being mrs. coach. all and all a good "catch up across seasons" ep. the no commercials thing is weird though. they do such hard, dramatic breaks... a short fade to black... and then we're back! i guess i need to watch more dvds. yay! fnl is back! |

what a bad week for buddy.
dillion wins? buddy happy! tammy puts the kibosh on the jumbo-tron? buddy sad. buddy sees lyia kissing riggins? buddy devastated. a bad week for buddy. plus (i'm not a big fan of previews, but fnl has been pretty straight about these) next week tammy gets to go principal-a-citizen with the mayor and the buddy's in town over the school issues vs the jumbo-tron. my money is on tammy! <3 tammy! |

I HATE HATE HATE Tyra's new hairdo. Good luck gettting into Texas-Austin looking like Betty Boop. Buddy needs to get taken down a notch. I look forward to Saracen being the man to do it. whoa...
this just struck me. (and i am probably wrong.) but tammy as principal IS the boss of coach. tammy in this ep (while apologizing to coach) made the observation that coach's computers were state-of-the-art, and his air conditioning was particularly cool (68 degrees.) all the while tammy has no supplies and the air conditioning for the school is substandard. tammy at the end of this ep rose up to reallocate the jumbo-tron funding to assist in the academic funding of the school. (an idea i applaud her for.) that is a noble goal and an ep or two of programing. fights, etc... but what if, and this is just a what if, as this fnl season progresses, tammy has to start removing the assets and the air conditioning accommodations of the football program to ensure the academic prowess of dillion high? wow. that would be a fucking powerful storyline. coach vs mrs. coach. education vs football. in texas. wow. (and i am probably wrong. i have no advanced knowledge.) it just struck me... |

i gots me the directv. and that tyra is the hots. hair, no hair, whatever... but honestly? i am more the fan of the tammy. that's just how i am wired... oh. and not for nothing? its "clear eyes. full hearts. can't lose..." ok?

She's so beautiful. I love her when she gets tough but she's a heartbreaker when she is vulnerable. But the look on her face when he sister got the proposal...priceless. |

Directv has exclusive rights to the first run of the episdoes so you're not likely to find them on hulu or any other "official" site.
