Didn't love this week's episode, especially in comparison to the gloriousness that was the Oprah episode.

I'm late to the party here, but I wanted to say I loved the Night Court thing. God, I loved that painfully cheesy show back in the day.

I'm tired of the stunt casting.
They're overdoing it. |

The Oprah episode was magic. This one didn't quite match up, but it was nevertheless enjoyable. At a blog, the author commented on Jen Aniston's
tabloid celebrity being so big that it interfered with his perception of the performance. I think I agree. She wasnt supposed to be playing herself, but all
I could see/think was Jennifer Aniston, even though she was doing good work.
I think Jenna is my favorite character. The were-lawyer bits had me gasping for air. |

indiekid26 wrote: Jenna is the funniest person on the show by far. She had so many great parts this episode, which was hilarious over-all. Although I had no idea what Night Court was, so that was all a bit random for me. Also, I want to go to Aquarium! Cerie = <3333 They always give her the most hilarious random lines. I adore Cerie and love her randomness. I hope we get to meet Aras sometime.

Is it just me or did Jenna say she used the money from her were-lawyer appearances to pay for hand reduction surgery? If so, WTF hahah
Damn this show is so awesome |

omg Kolosomo dedicating his 6000th post to 30 Rock <3
Finally saw the episode, and it definitely didn't live up to last week's, but it's pretty solid. I would have to agree about seeing Jennifer Aniston instead of "Claire". |

I actually thought the Oprah one was kind of "meh" by 30 Rock standards, brilliant by anybody else's....that were-lawyer shit in this episode
with Jenna had me crying. Too good.

The title of the episode was "The One with the Cast of 'Night Court'"

wow, brilliant title.
do I have to explain why? Rachel + Night Court, therefore "The One With..." Hand Reduction surgery -priceless -and I believe she flashed her hands quickly. |

Thought the episode was pretty short, though I did enjoy Pete one-upping Jack.

Nice to see Steve Martin being funny again. Last thing I saw him in was Shopgirl and he was damn near lobotomized in that.
About the "stunt" casting. Tina Fey said that, with the exception of Seinfeld, these were all parts that were written before the guest star was signed. She also said, I think it was at the Emmy's, that if having ridiculous guest stars every week like Will & Grace means they get to stay on the air for 9 years like W&G she'll just have to live with that. Personally, I can see how it's distracting but I thought Janiston and the Jerk were pretty seamless with their characters. Sex Dolls Save Lives.
