Why was Ariel being such a bitch? I understand she was freaked out over the weird dude but she was talking to Joe like it was her house. I'm chalking this one up to bad acting. I just wanted to congratulate you on the best Medium rant ever written. 97% agreeance, but 100% on the tone. What a lousy lighthearted ep. And with Jeffrey Tambor at their disposal? A shame.

Not a lousy episode, just slightly out of place in the universe of Medium as you want to think it. I liked it for what it was as I wasn't reading a lot into it. Seriously. Lighten up. It was like cleansing the palate after an intensely spicy meal.

It's probably nice for the actors to get something 'different'. I hope they are not going to cancel this show..that would be terrible with all the crap that's on (too much reality tv for starters)

I happened to like it - maybe I wasn't as annoyed by the stuff mentioned (although I understand where it is coming from) because the episode was meant to be campy and comedic so I guess it didn't surprise me that Allison would get annoyed that Joe was telling him/her to get off the property. I enjoyed the little stuff, Tambor sewing the costume, taking the bath, Joe feeling uncomfortable but also bonded, the girls freaked and I knew Allison would love Ariel being the lion protecting the cubs and the defender of their house. This is just a gem of a show.

Just thought I'd pass it along. This needs to go to the front page anyway so we're ready to go for tonight. We get to see how life is in prison for our darling Cynthia Keener/Angelica Houston. TV Week's Joseph Adalian is reporting that negotiations between NBC and producer CBS Television Studios have broken down over the sixth-season renewal of Glenn Gordon Caron's "Medium," and that the psychic drama may be headed to sister network CBS. CBS could move the show to Fridays, after CBS' very similar psychic drama "The Ghost Whisperer." NBC announces its fall slate Tuesday; CBS announces Wednesday. But "Medium" is not likely to be mentioned at either presentation. As Adalian explains: If this is CBS' plan, the network no doubt would prefer to announce the move Wednesday during its upfront presentation. If CBS takes it, I'm concerned they'd try to make it more family friendly, i.e., no more dead children stuffed into doll cartons. But if NBC kept it and it became a 9pm show, I fear the same thing will happen. Best of all possible worlds: CBS takes it and puts it in writing that Glenn Caron retains complete creative control. Fridays at 10 is going to be a bitch. It'll be fun to see the Ghost Whisperer people tune and freak out when Ali encounters her first CBS unspeakably horrible horror show murderer.

Currently Ghost Whisperer is on at eight. I was worried about a tone-down as well. I just hope the same writers stay aboard if it does move.

If I woke up to dead people or even through the day I think I would flip out. Maybe, I've seen a ghost once in my lifetime. There are many twists and turns in the show. Don't think too much into it and let it go. We all are gifted.

Medium has a small, but dedicated fan base that watched almost religiously. FOr NBC to snub that group of people in favour of more variety tv ala Mr. Boring Jay Leno is just beyond stupid. I hope that network dies a fiery death at the hands of Heroes - the worst show on TV.

We will still be able to see Medium even it is on CBS. I was so happy to see Anjelica Houston last night. She's a really good actress, and it's nice to see that hse's still helping to solve crimes, even if she committed one herself. The whole parole hearing thing at the end makes me think Anjelica's character may come back.

True though, what makes Ghost Whisperer the exception to the Friday night rule might not work for Medium. So much darker.

This show is far from fading out. A change to San Diego along with a change of network might be a good thing, too. Anyone notice little Marie giving Ali the "oh snap" finger while saying Bad Mommy? I love this cast.
