Huh.. I didn't know that Michael Weston was the PI. I loved the PI. I also couldn't stand Michael Weston's character in Burn Notice, so its good to
know it isn't the actor that I hated.

I just started watching this through one of those "online tv" streaming sites last week. I saw an Ep a year or so ago, but I didn't like it.
Too far fetched. Dr. House, the titular character, was too much of an ass to exist in any hospital. Stupid. I turned it off.
But when you watch from the beginning, you can become a big fan, as I am a big fan now. They showed the incredulous, silly proceedings from the get go. When you take it all in from the start, the "House" way of doing medicine makes sense in the "House" TV show. And since this show has been on since 2004, I blame House for much of this recent fervor over this concept of "Obamacare." This idiotic idea of "single-payer" government health care. This show is what single-payer morons see as healthcare. This beautiful and extravagant, state-of-the-art walk-in clinic, with 5 or 6 amazing doctors dedicated full time to a single case until it is resolved (all sitting in a room 24x7, running through each and every cure scenario, days upon end...) A clinic where all tests and drugs are freely given and none are unavailable (sometimes over and over again), and an unlimited stay in a luxurious single-bed room is available indefinitely until the patient is cured. Could be weeks or months. And no one ever, ever!, is presented will a bill for these services. No one ever pays. Its all Gratis. Free. Free fucking gratis. Yep. That is exactly what single-payer healthcare would look like. Just like House. Sure it is... Heh. |

Not including the Obama healthcare stuff, I was pretty much the same way with House. I saw a couple random episodes during the first couple seasons, and never
even finished one because I just didn't like it at all. But then when I was all bedridden in the nursing home with shitty cable and few entertainment
options, I caught a marathon on USA that started at the beginning, and liked it a lot more.

Crap. I had sworn this show off. I didn't even bother with the last 3 or 4 episodes of last season.
But Andre freaking Braugher is going to be making an appearance means I have to watch it. I fucking love him in everything and anything he does. Fuck. |
