I can't help but think Sherri's holding Palmer's balls in this photo.

I don't know if I can get on board with the African tribal regime threatening America scenario. It's not like they're interested in becoming a world power, and they know that if they attacked America, they'd be leveled in about 5 minutes. It's not like they have an army that can compete on any level with the US.-- Middle Eastern terrorists have a theological reason to attack America and they're not necessarily associated with a specific country, so it's more difficult to retaliate. The president knows exactly who's threatening us, so there's no reason for her to be afraid of them.

Also, I would hope that with our president, in the choice wouldn't be "impossible." Given 100,000 people dying in another country vs. 20,000 Americans, you save the Americans. She's the president of the US, not this African country.

Oh, I know America doesn't negotiate. My problem is that I don't believe the entire scenario would ever happen to begin with.
