Well, apart from Jill Bauer actually "going there" with that shooter, those last two hours were...underwhelming.
They certainly weren't no nuclear bomb going off. |

I don't remember, did black Jack Bauer die last season?

I wasn't really all that blown away tonight. I was waiting for 'something' and that 'something' never came.
I am hoping that the twists start coming and soon. |

The first hour was pretty twisty and action packed. C'mon, no love for Jack's car crash? And Janine vs. Chloes mad-hacker skillz? The second hour.
Meh.

Ok. Jack saying 'This is gonna hurt.' before crashing the car through a concrete barrier was all kinds of awesome. And Chloe being cranky was a
welcomed moment.
But not even super sexay Tony could save the second hour. |

The political 'moralistic' story line is laughable.

I thought getting through the two hours of eps 3 & 4 was a bit of a chore. Great. So I guess we have another conspiracy season. A conspiracy so powerful
and deep.... blah blah blah. Above posters are correct on the new president: boring grandma. My main problem: the new Ira Gaines-class bad guy is Methos.
Methos. You do not want to cross that ffuker.

24 thinking.
That annoying FBI Tech dude? The one that broke all security to see where his wife's flight was? (The act that Jeanene covered up?) The one who broke all security (again) to ensure his wife's plane will be the first to land? You know her plane is going to crash and be a demonstration of the evil Africans. You know it! |

I do have one major question though. Back in Redemption (for those who saw), I thought it was the buddy of the
President's son who uncovered the consipiracy and then brought it to the son's attention. So, the son was then murdered to keep him quiet? Do I have
that right? And if so, is this all the doing of Jon Voight, who I assume will be back? I just hope I am getting that part of the story correct.

Yes.

It took me until mid way through the 3rd hour to figure out who that head FBI dude was -- he was Jake Manning from Once and Again and then the FBI gal who
talked to the weirdo techie was his girlfriend from that show too.
In Redemption, did the General guy actually confront or see Jack -- I can't remember. If they meet up face to face, I doubt the General ude will be too happy to see they guy who killed his brother. |

I'm hoping that Madame President killed her son and made it look like a suicide so it (him being indicted) wouldn't affect her chance at the
presidency... fingers crossed....

I can't help but think Sherri's holding Palmer's balls in this photo. I don't know if I can get on board with the African tribal regime threatening America scenario. It's not like they're interested in becoming a world power, and they know that if they attacked America, they'd be leveled in about 5 minutes. It's not like they have an army that can compete on any level with the US.-- Middle Eastern terrorists have a theological reason to attack America and they're not necessarily associated with a specific country, so it's more difficult to retaliate. The president knows exactly who's threatening us, so there's no reason for her to be afraid of them. Also, I would hope that with our president, in the choice wouldn't be "impossible." Given 100,000 people dying in another country vs. 20,000 Americans, you save the Americans. She's the president of the US, not this African country. |

But America doesn't negotiate with terrorists. She was right about letting a third party dictate policy.

Oh, I know America doesn't negotiate. My problem is that I don't believe the entire scenario would ever happen to begin with.

Yeah, that's pretty much it for me, too. The basic story this year is just kinda...lame :/
