Jesus, I can't tell which is more melodramatic this show or my life.. I am going with my life as I have fewer vague accented negroes..
Seriously if they added David Caruso the trifecta of Hoarse Whispering would be complete. I see Jack and I share a few tricks as well.. scissor necking a dude to death while being handcuffed.. Another way this show reminds me of my life is I haven't a clue what the fuck is going on... |

Like going back to a seedy, abusive ex - I gave it one last shot. But now it's time for me to be the strong black woman I know I am inside and get it out
of my life forever. Starting today I am going to pretend it got canceled after season 5.

Finding this thread on page two the day after 24 Redemption aired: sad, grim, pathetic

Does Kiefer Sutherland have Asthma? That breathy voice is really irritating to me.
So, where does last night's movie fit into the storyline? Does it stand alone or is it part of the 24 hours? I missed part of the preview for the next show because it appeared they had slipped into extended commercial mode. |

Season 7 starts at 7:00am with Jack at the Senate hearing. It's probably a few days or a week after the conclusion of Redemption.

It was nice to see Jack again, but that was pretty boring. I was expecting so much out of that torture scene, and I was expecting Jack to have to shoot that
kid point blank in the head. Sorry, but 24 has lost a lot of its balls since Season 5......
I was also expecting a way bigger "what the FUCK" cliffhanger. Did they mention why Jack was being supeonaed? (shut up, I know that is spelt wrong) |

For the "alleged" torture of detainees at CTU.

Tony Almeda as a bad guy. Nice. This season looks great. I'm glad they're getting back to America, because I missed the techy aspect. So sorry old friend Carl had to go - but, loved the way he went! Although, it looked to me in the preview that the bad guy didn't die in the landmine explosion. All in all a plausible explanation as to why Jack goes back. That was also NOT a good look for Gil Bellows. |

For the "alleged" torture of detainees at CTU. Gawd, haven't they just learned to give him a free pass on this shit by now? He's Jack Bauer, he only cuts your head off with a hacksaw if you are a child molester - and he HAS to |

Wasn't there something about Jack having an enemy in the White House who wants him prosecuted, thus the subpoena?
Anyhow, I liked Redemption. Yeah there was maybe too much set up during the first hour, but Jack being a badass was awesome. The guy on the landmine was a nice touch, too. This new president is excruciating though. |

OK, in the movie on Sunday, who was the old dude with white hair that was helping the bad guys in Africa? He obviously has a role in the old or new admin
since he was with the important peeps getting ready for the inauguration.
Jack is getting fat, I want the HAWT Jack Bauer back. Hope he gets in shape for the regular season filming I think Kiefer might be a smoker in real life, thus the raspy voice. |

Yes, he is. I saw him interviewed on one of the late night shows and he said he quit while he was in prison, but resumed upon being released.

LOL Poor guy. I don't think you have a choice BUT to quit when in prison. Aren't they all 'non-smoking' in most places now?
